King Pharaoh (キングファラオ) is an egyptian-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description

King Pharaoh is a Medarot with the rather vague design motif of "ancient Egypt". Its head and leg parts evoke the Sphinx, and its body is decorated with hieroglyph-like symbols. It can fire powerful black hole-type gravity attacks from its arms.

In the games

King Pharaoh is a tank-type Medarot with a Napalm attack on its head and Press attacks on both arms. In Medarot DS, its head part had its name changed to Simoon (シムーン) and the attack was changed to Tornado.

In Medarot 1, 2, and R, its arms use physical skills (Strike and Berserk), which is unusual for gravity-based attacks. From Medarot 2 Core onwards, they were changed to use Shoot and Snipe instead. In Medarot 8, its arms use Break Hammer, a physical gravity-based attack.

In Medarot 1

King Pharaoh is the Medarot used by Tawarama during the Robottle World Championship. Its parts can't be bought in stores, making it somewhat difficult to obtain.

King Pharaoh's arms and legs have the Sneak attribute in this game, making it one of the few Medarots compatible with the Ninja Medal. It also would have some of the strongest Press attacks in the game, but due to a bug in how the game calculates damage, its arms don't get the damage bonus associated with gravity attacks (because they lack the Gravity attribute). They can, however, still be blocked by Negate Gravity. The attribute on its arms was changed to Gravity in Medarot 2 onwards.

The player can get its parts from winning the battles with Tawarama (located in the hotel before the tournament, and during the tournament) or Taiyou (during the tournament, and at the top floor of the Select building). There are only 4 battles, so luck is required to get the full set. There is also a small possibility of finding King Pharaoh's parts in a pile of parts in an off-limits area of the Medarot Research Center (before the national tournament), but doing so reduces your chances of getting Nae's ending. Lastly, you can also obtain it by having someone trade you the parts for DonDoguu, which will transform into King Pharaoh's parts upon being traded.

In Medarot 2

King Pharaoh's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred over from Medarot 1.

Here, since the Sneak attribute was removed, its arms and legs were switched to Gravity (matching with the Bear Medal).

In Medarot 2 Core

King Pharaoh is used by a character named Shandy.

In Medarot Brave

Quote: Come on! Bring it! I shall robattle you with the spirit of the ancient lesson.

In Medarot DS

Its model number was changed to EGT00-M.

In the anime

Its Patra's original Medarot when she was younger, which it's revealed in a flashback.
