Cross Messiah Z (クロスメサイアZ) is a Kabuto x Kuwagata-type Medarot that appears in Medarot S.
Description
Cross Messiah Z is a model designed with aspects of both Kabuto (rhino beetle) and Kuwagata (stag beetle) Medarots. It has one green and one red eye, to evoke Saikachis and Dorcus respectively, as well as a gun on its left arm and a sword on its right. Its head design is based on a tricorne ("three horned") hat as a reference to the beetles' horns.
Unlike its predecessor, it has the ability to use Medachange, where the design is reminiscent of the MasterBeetle, combination of Arcbeetle-Dash and Tyrrellbeetle's Medachange from Medarot Damashii.
The "cross" in Cross Messiah's name comes from that being a common Japanese reading of "x", as in "Kabuto x Kuwagata". The "Z" is likely referring to it being the final stage for the original Cross Messiah.
