Medarot Girls Mission is the newest 3D action game in the Medarot series, released on March 10, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS.

The game features a new cast of 20 playable characters and nearly --- Medarots to collect. Like Dual, it was released in Kabuto and Kuwagata versions, however this time the player upon completing the story with their starter character. (Consists of 12 Missions.) they unlock different schools with different characters as playable characters.

Changes from Medarot Dual

The game engine has undergone several changes in Girls Mission:

  • There is now a new feature called Hyper Finish, which lets the player charge up the medaforce to 200% to do more damage and potentially finish them off with a unique medal animation that results in the opponents medarotters clothes getting torn off.
  • There is up to 20 playable characters (4 are DLC.) to play as, with their own unique Medarot.
  • Upon completing the story mode of the game with 16 of the cast of 20 main characters, you unlock Extreme Mode, making your opponents use their special alternative sets rather than normal ones. As well as increasing the aggressiveness of the AI, and the bot hoard tests and final boss. Completing the story on extreme mode with each girl unlocks their alternative more powerful version of their starter.
  • There is no 3D over world to roam around in, everything is done through menus.
  • The meat of the game consists of 70training missions, (To teach you about all part types.) 1 ten floor challenge that increase Medal Points and Money Points you earn the higher you fight until you toss in the towel. 6 battle towers, (4 of them are DLC) and completing them rewards you with unique Medarot sets as well as unique companions to fight by your side.
  • The Medarot gashapon machine use normal gold earned from fighting in battle towers, completing story missions, or doing the 10 floor challenge. Within the 3 types of gashapon machines you can earn rare alternative color sets, as well as set parts form the store to a more affordable price.

Pre-release

Players who pre-ordered the game received ether a version exclusive art book, unique 3DS theme, poster or plastic case depending on what version they purchased. The pre-order bonuses are still obtainable from online stores and Amazon.co.jp, and are importable if the product seller is Amazon.co.jp. [1] [2] The character DLC was also maid available for free for people who bought the game during the launch month.
