Yanma (ヤンマ Yanma) is a character from Medarot 1. He is a member of the Bad Kid Trio. His primary medarot is Cyandog.
He is something of a predecessor to Iwanoi, having a similar appearance, role, and preference in Medarots.
In the games
Medarot
Yanma is a classmate of Hikaru. At the beginning of the game, he is found bullying Kirara and challenges Hikaru to a Robattle. If Hikaru wins the battles, he then has to face Kubota and his Yellowturtle. If he fails or surrender, the story progresses as it normally would.
After Hikaru retrieves a Tinpet from the Seaside cave, Yanma blocks the path to the Medarot Company area. He must be defeated to progress. Later he is the first opponent in the City Tournament, using two Medarots with a mix of Cyandog and Yellowturtle parts.
Yanma's role is identical in the game's remake Medarot Perfect Edition, though he is given additional dialogue.
Medarot S
Yanma is one of the obtainable Medarotters featured in Medarot S, giving a success bonus for Rifle-based attacks.
