Several promotional cards were released for the Medarot Card Game, either distributed at events or with other pieces of Medarot merchandise.

Although many of the promo cards use different formats, they can be distinguished from Medarot OCG cards and other collectible sets by them having the same back image as the rest of the cards in the Medarot Card Game.

Standard part cards

Seven of the 240 regular Medarot part cards were not released in booster packs and could only be obtained from special events. These included all of Crow Tengu's parts, as well as parts from Nin-Ninja, HellPhoenix and Yuchitang.

# Medarot Part Part name Japanese Skill/Type Attribute
Shoot Rapid-Fire
42 Crow Tengu Right Cyclone Shoot Anti-Air
Snipe Anti-Air

Bipedal Sneak
166 HellPhoenix Right Fire Gun Strike Burn
Shoot Gravity

Password part cards

Four special part cards were released in 1999 as an in-store bonus for customers who pre-ordered Medarot R, featuring the passwords required to obtain Chao Shen Kou's parts in the game. Unlike other part cards, these have no stats and therefore cannot be used in the card game itself. The cards were packaged in metallic silver-colored sleeves and each customer received one random card out of the four.

"Super Medarotter" cards

Two cards, featuring Metabee and Rokusho, were included as version-specific bonuses in the limited edition releases of Medarot Cardrobottle. These cards are considered to be "Super Medarotter" cards, and unlike other cards featuring entire Medarots, can actually be used as playable cards in the card game. Because a non-limited edition of Medarot Cardrobottle was never released, all new copies of the game should include these cards.

Full Medarot / Collectible cards

Several promotional cards were released between 1999 and 2000 that used roughly the same style as the full Medarot cards in the main card set. Although none of these cards are playable in the card game, two of the cards (Rappy and Tricerabots) include passwords for obtaining the Medarot's parts in-game, which are otherwise unobtainable.

These cards are also numbered like the full Medarot cards, starting at 61 and continuing to at least 69. It is unknown exactly how many were released.
