Blackmail (ブラックメイル), known in English as Blackram, is a Devil-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.
Description
Blackmail resembles a bipedal black goat with wings, an image that most likely comes from Baphomet. Like many animal-based Medarots, its functional eyes are located inside the mouth part of the design and stylized to look like teeth. It attacks with vicious blows from its large claws.
Blackmail's name comes from English where it refers to a type of extortion. In the English anime and games, its name was changed to Blackram to better reflect its appearance. In Japanese, the spelling of Blackmail's name is inconsistant, with most sources spelling it ブラックメイル and others using ブラックメール instead.
In the games
Blackmail is a bipedal Medarot that uses powerful physical attacks with the Berserk skill. In Medarot 1, it used a unique physical attack called Ghost, but the attack was removed in Medarot 2, and Blackmail's parts were changed to use Hammer instead. In Medarot 7, Blackmail makes a reappearance along with Ghost attacks, which are again only used by Blackmail.
In Medarot 1, Blackmail's parts have the "Sacrifice" attribute, which matches with the Devil Medal. In Medarot 2, R, and 2 Core, it still matches with the Devil Medal, but the attribute was renamed to Destruction.
In Medarot 1
Blackmail is the sole user of Ghost attacks. Its attacks are extremely powerful and can pierce multiple parts, but they are also slow and very innacurate. Its head part has the highest attack power in the game (power 99), but can only be used once per battle.
Its parts can only be obtained in the post-game by battling the Wolf Man in the mountain village area, who uses a team of 3 Blackmails. After battling him once, if the player obtains the "normal glasses" from the Medarot laboratory and brings them to him, he can be fought a second time.
Blackmail's leg parts can also be obtained by winning the RoboRobo Gang Robottle Tournament in the shrine area earlier in the game. It is impossible to complete the set on a single playthrough.
In Medarot 2
Blackmail's parts are not normally obtainable in Mearot 2, and have to be transferred over from Medarot 1. It was instead replaced by the new DVL-type, Belzelga.
Here, its attacks were replaced with Hammer, but its stats remain otherwise unchanged.
In Medarot 4
Blackmail appears after the game's final chapter, as a wild Medarot who is rampaging about. It is later found at a lab's last floor underground in Ryuutou, where the player can fight it as many times as needed.

In Medarot 2 Core
Kouji Karakuchi has 2 Blackmails when you battle him through Medalink, as well as before the true final boss battle.
Its Devil Leg part has the best armor and defense of all Bipedal leg parts.
In the manga
Blackmail appears alongside Heal Angel and Beast Master in the final chapters of Medarot 1.
In the anime
Blackmail appears in the first episode of the original series, when a gang of Medarotters, The Rockers, were attacking other Medarotters to take their parts. As they had HellPhoenix and Blackmail, they could deal a lot of damage to most Medarots, which were unable to defend theirselves. Two of The Screws gang bought a Death Bomb part, which was later stolen by The Rockers and later used by one of their Blackmails. However, when they were attacking Arika's Brass, Ikki appeared with his new Metabee, easily defeating The Rockers' Medarots.
