The King Medal was first introduced in Medarot 3, it specialize in Speed moves.
The Medarot 3 and 4 King Medal is themed after playing card, specifically representing the King of Diamonds. It is part of a set that includes the Queen, Jack, and Ace Medals. In later games, while this medal retains some of its original attributes, it shifts thematically to represent a king in the context of monarchy, much like the original Queen Medal.
