Version exclusives[edit]
Nine Medals can be obtained in each playthrough, 5 of which are version exclusive:

The Clownfish, Boar, Tree Frog, Gecko, and alien Medals are obtainable in both versions.
The Tree Frog and Gecko Medals are given as a reward depending on who you choose to battle first before the main tournament (Asahi or Yamato respectively), so two playthroughs are required to get both.
