Cyandog (シアンドッグ) is a dog-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.
Description[edit]
As its name implies, Cyandog is a blue Medarot that resembles a dog. It has a lightning bolt symbol on its forehead. The rifles on his arms allow fast shooting attacks. While not a particulary powerful Medarot, its high speed can be used to its advantage.
Cyandog, together with Magentacat and Yellowturtle, represent the main components of the CMYK color model.
In the games[edit]
Cyandog is a bipedal Medarot that specializes in Rifle attacks. It is best used with the Kabuto Medal.
In Medarot 1[edit]
Cyandog is the signature Medarot used by Yanma of the original Bad Kid Trio. It is also the first Medarot the player faces in the game. (The player can lose the battle without losing any parts.) Aside from Yanma, other random Medarotters use it. It can also be purchased at the convenience store in the Medarot Research Institute area.

In Medarot 2[edit]
Cyandog's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred over from Medarot 1. It was replaced by the new DOG-type, Bluesdog.
In Medarot R[edit]
Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting イワノイ (that is ranked opponent number 81) and ハスケ (that is ranked opponent number 10).
In Medarot 4[edit]
As a nod to the Medarotter Rintarou manga, Cyandog is used by Hasuke Samejima in Kameyama Elementary School, along with two Gokudos.
It can be fought early in Kameyama Elementary, alongside the other Damerot Club Medarot only if you beat Kokuen and return to Sazanka City before you progress enough to battle Hakuma.
Library description: Dog type Medarot. What part will it make full of holes?
[edit]
Hasuke appears again with Cyandog, but this time its design more closely matches the one seen in the Rintarou manga. Its model number in this game is DOG-0BH. It uses the Vehicle Medal.
Metabee Shot[edit]
A Cyandog is one of the selectable opponent in Metabee Shot and is featured as the opponent Medarot in the game's attract mode sequence. This appearance uses its Medarot Navi design.
Robattle 3D[edit]
Cyandog was completed and planned to be added in an update for Robattle 3D, but was ultimately not implemented in the version playable to the public.
In Medarot 2 Core[edit]
In the remake, Iwanoi of the Screws uses Cyandog instead of Bluesdog.
In Medarot 8[edit]
Cyandog makes a reappearance in Medarot 8 as a DLC-exclusive Medarot. It appears along with Warbonnet, Smilodonad, and Nio-Heiko in the third DLC mission, which can be downloaded for 300 yen ($2.40).
Its model number is now DOG00.
In the anime[edit]
Cyandog is Iwanoi's signature Medarot for the first half of the series. Unfortunately, Iwanoi's Cyandog uses a Monkey Medal, which isn't compatible at all with its shooting parts. Cyandog, though, was loyal to Iwanoi, similar to a dog being loyal to its owner. Later its parts were replaced with the DOG-1 Bluesdog parts.
As the Monkey Medal wasn't compatible with Cyandog's parts, its accuracy wasn't good at all, and he lost almost every Robottle he was in. However, wearing a Decoy Crab arm part wasn't helpful either during a Robottle against Metabee, because the Monkey Medal excels at confusion skills and not melee or shooting according to the anime.
