Medarot 4 was released in 2001 for the Game Boy Color. Like its predecessors, it was released in two versions: Kabuto Version and Kuwagata Version.

The game follows Ikki Tenryou and his friends in the town of Omikuji.   • Dark Robottle (a mini game where you Robottle in a dark area and have to predict your enemy's whereabouts)
  • Robottles now have restrictions: Partner (1 Medarot only), Team (Partner Medarot must be the Leader), Ban (certain parts are prohibited), Bipedal, Female, 6 vs 6, and 9 vs 9
