Sakekaasu (サケカース Sakekāsu), known as Seaslug in the English translations, is an executive of the RoboRobo Gang, first appearing in Medarot 2.
After Taiyo's downfall, he becomes the new leader of the gang, though he and his group are often manipulated as pawns by more dangerous antagonists. He is typically portrayed as a headstrong yet somewhat inept leader of the RoboRobo executives, often providing a mix of comical relief. Sakekaasu also has a fondness for carbonated springs.
By the time Medarot DS and Medarot 7 take place, Sakekaasu was demoted from the leader position. That role is instead taken over by Conflict and, later, Dr. Hebereke.
In the anime, his real name is Sakenosuke Kasukabe, or Seymore Slugbottom in the western dub.

Medarot[edit]
Sakekaasu is one of the main antagonist of the original anime series where is the field leader of the RoboRobo Gang. He is frantic, arrogant and scheming but his schemes often fail against Ikki and Metabee. Eventually, he is demoted by Dr. Hebereke, who gives command to Sarami instead. One episode has him infiltrates the Medarot Company undercover and fall in love with Karasumi, which causes a heartbreak when he (mistakenly) believes she is already engaged.
