This page describes Ikki's dog. For the protagonist from Medarot 8, see Salt.
Salty (ソルティー Sorutī) is Ikki's dog introduced in Medarot 2 and plays a similar role to Bonaparte, Hikaru's dog from the first game.
However, unlike Bonaparte, Salty is strangely a dog that fulfills the role of a Medarotter, particularly in Medarot R and the Parts Collection games. It's not explained how this is possible, nor is it a fact seriously addressed in the main games.
