Medalink (メダリンク Medarinku), introduced in Medarot 2, allows players to face other Medarotters via the Internet instead of engaging in physical Robattles. This "in-universe", not to be confused with the real battle via link cable.

Medalink typically operates on a ranking system, with the final battles being against top Medarotters. However, if two people are using Medalink simultaneously, they can challenge each other regardless of their rankings. Accessing Medalink usually requires specialized terminals.

Medalink can be seen as an offline simulation of what a linked Robattle between two individuals would be like.

Medarot 2 / Medarot 2 Core[edit]

Ikki Tenryou can start using Medalink as soon as he gains access to Medaropolis. The Medalink terminals are located on the second floor of Medarotters shop, with each terminal providing access to a specific segment of the ranking.

Ikki cannot climb the entire ranking right away; he must progress through certain points in the story to unlock access to higher ranks.

Medalink's ranking system ranges from 24th to 1st, with four extra battles: one with Dr. Hebereke and three with Nae Akihabara. By defeating the entire rank in Medalink, Ikki gains the complete Bayonet or Solin set, depending on the game version.

- Bottom-right terminal (24th to 21st):

- Upper-right terminal (20th to 15th):

- Upper-left terminal (14th to 9th):

- Bottom-left terminal (8th to 4th):

- Bottom-right terminal (3rd to 1st):

Notes:

  • The bottom-left terminal is available from the start.
  • After beating Nae, she will give you a medal in her laboratory.
  • Dr. Hebereke becomes available after Ikki is saved by Lady Retort.
  • The bottom-right terminal becomes available after the RoboRobo Gang steals the Unknown Egg.
  • The upper-right terminal is available after Kouji talks about the disappearance of children. You can also battle Nae again at the bottom-right terminal.
  • Lady Retort doesn't give you any part when she loses.
  • The upper-left terminal becomes available after Ikki returns from Kodine Kingdom. You can also battle Nae again at the upper-right terminal.
  • The second wave in the bottom-left terminal is available after witnessing Phantom Retort and Phantom Lady in the Medarot Lab and talking to Dr. Medarot.
  • Phantom Retort doesn't give you any part when he loses.
  • The second wave in the bottom-right terminal is available post-game.

Medarot R / Medarot R Parts Collection[edit]

Ikki again can access the Medalink terminal immediately upon reaching Medaropolis. Additionally, several terminals are available on other maps throughout the game.

Unlike in Medarot 2, Ikki can challenge the entire rank regardless of his progress in the story.

Medarot R Parts Collection revolves around Medalink's ranking system, which mirrors the list in Medarot R but includes a few different Medarots for greater variety in part collection.

Medarot 3[edit]

Similar to Medarot 2, Ikki Tenryou can access Medalink as soon as he reaches Medaropolis in Chapter 2. The Medalink terminals are located on the second floor of the Medarotter’s shop, with each terminal providing access to a specific segment of the ranking system.

Unlike Medarot R, Ikki cannot progress through the entire ranking immediately. Certain points in the storyline must be reached to unlock access to higher ranks.

Medalink’s ranking system ranges from 40th to 1st place. By defeating all ranked opponents, Ikki earns the complete Uglyduck set.
