This is a Guide for Medarot 2 / Medarot 2 Core or simply known as Medabots.

Here I document the differences between both games and try to explain what parts you will need during the playthrough.

Without further ado, lets go!!

Notes

A few notes: I listed the anime model numbers for those who watched the anime. The official model numbers are on the left, the English dub model numbers are on the right when introducing a Medabot. Medarot 1 Medabots, however don't appear as obtainable parts, but they do show up as enemies.

The year in this game is 2017, set ten years after the Ten Days of Darkness in Medarot 1 / Medarot Perfect Edition. Medarot 2 / Medarot 2 Core serves as a mostly standalone sequel to this game as barely anything about Medarot 1 is even talked about and it focuses on the new protagonist Ikki Tenryou. Medarot 2 was released for the Game Boy Color, though one could play it on the Game Boy Advance if they'd like.

Medarot 2 has sequels in in the form of Medarot 3 and Medarot 4, so check them out if you're playing Medarot Classics Plus on Nintendo Switch.

Medarot 2 Core on the other hand, has a sequel known as Medarot BRAVE, or Medabots Infinity in the US and PAL regions. It was released for the Nintendo Gamecube, and has Compatibility with this game. Medabots Infinity can by played on the Nintendo Wii due to backwards compatibility.

Chapter 1

You start of playing as Ikki Tenryou, a boy who is a fan of Medabots. Right now, he is doing his usual routine: visiting the Lab.

You need to go to the northern room from the enterance and go to the western room of the lab. If you do this, Ikki will enter a conversation with an old man, this man is Doctor Aki, a researcher on Medabots. He will ask what Ikki's name is, and Ikki will jog the man's memory. Dr. Aki will explain that he's busy right now, and directs Ikki to Nae's office in the lab. Once Ikki tries to go there he'l be knocked down by a rude Scientist --only for Nae to show up and talk sense into him.

For those who watched the anime for Medabots, you'll recognize that the scenario is different, and if you've seen only the first season, you might not recognize Nae.

The fool gawks at Nae, and lets Ikki pass, Nae shows Ikki her lab, and shows him 4 prototype Medabots:

  • Flame Tisala, known as Saldron in the dub,
  • Aquacrown,
  • Wind Cecil, Known as Windsail in the engish dub,
  • and Earthkrono.

Nae will explain that Ikki is free to enter her lab anytime and Ikki leaves. Ikki looks at the time and rushes home, only for his mother, Chidori to give him an errand.

You'll have to go to the shop Hopmart, and get Retort Curry / Spice-A-Roni(dub) for Ikki's mom, only for a teenage boy to get yelled at by his boss. That boy is known as Hikaru 'Henry' Agata, and he just got himself in hot water with his boss for buying expensive parts. The parts aren't his, as Hikaru is doing secret work for Doctor Aki.

Henry forces Ikki to trade in his money for the parts, and Ikki leaves.

You got:

  • (Metabee ver)

KBT01-M -- Metal Beetle

English Version Part Names:
Head: Missile
Right Arm: Revolver
Left Arm: Submachingun
Legs: Ochitsuka
Model No.: KBT-11220

  • (Rokusho ver)

KWG-01-M -- Head Scissors

English Version Part Names:
Head: Antenna
Right Arm: Sword
Left Arm: Pipo Hammer
Legs: Tatacker
Model No.: KWG-11237

Ikki, scolded by his mother, goes to his room and assembles his Medabot-- only to find out that it doesn't work without a medal. Ikki's father, Jouzo Tenryou arrives from work only to confront a strange man calling himself the Kaito Retort / Phantom Renegade(dub), the man gives Jouzo a Kabuto Medal / Kuwagata Medal that Jouzo gives to his son Ikki.

You got

  • (Metabee ver)

Kabuto Medal.

Personality: Hot-Headed -- Aims for heavily armored or strong foes and supports others.

Metabee is hotheaded and prefers to work together with other Medabots to take down foes instead of working alone.

Metabee's Medaforce list (Medarot 2)

Medaforce Description Level Learned
Issei Shageki An Attack that combines the power of all Shooting parts, shooting a beam of light at the opponent. LV 10
Berserk Powers up all attacking parts. LV 30
Last Form LV 60

  • (Rokusho ver)

Kuwagata Medal

Personality: Cool -- Aims for weakly armored foes and supports themselves

Rokusho is calm and likes working alone, finding it hard to work with other Medabots.

Rokusho's Medaforce List (Medarot 2)

Medaforce Description Level Learned
Tate Issen A Vertical slash that deals damage based on that Medabot’s strongest Melee part. LV 10
Yoko Issen A horizontal slash that deals damage based on that Medabot’s strongest Melee part. LV 30
Karatakewari LV 60

Keep in mind that different medals have differennt Personalities. Personalities tell what fighting style your Medabot has in mind, so balance personalities well.

Exited to have his first Medabot, Ikki name his partner Metabee or Rokusho demending on the version.

When Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho leave, Ikki's friend Erika Amazake shows up and noticing Metabee / Rokusho offers to robattle with Ikki. Ikki looks worried, only for Erika to explain that this is a practice Robattle:

Battle 1 Erika Amazake and Brass

Opponent:Sailor-Multi (SLR01-F / Model SLR-191218 in the anime)

  • Strategy:

This is a practice fight so nothing will be won or lost. You only gain experience.

    • (Metabee ver)

Remember Brass relies on her Variable Hair to Scan, so open with Metabee's Machinegun to do heavy damage as Brass wasted a turn. Metabee might get lucky and do a Critical, so continue by using Metabee's Meta-Revolver and Meta-Machinegun.

    • (Rokusho ver)

If you want Rokusho to do more Damage, have him Scan first, then use his Chanbara Sword to do damage. Finish with the Pipo Hammer.

After this Erika tells Ikki to go to the Medabot Tournament at school. When Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho go there, the tornament is over and Erika complains and tells Ikki that the Screws; a mean gang of three young delinquents, have total control of the place, and forces Ikki to fight them.

Samantha, the leader of the Screws, taunts Ikki, and tells him to fight Sloan. Sloan, being an ignoramus, tries to intimidate Ikki and challenges him to fight:

Battle 2- Sloan and Totalizer

Get one of Totalizer's parts if you want them. there are 4 chances to get them early so you can use it in the Kabuto version later on.

Opponent: Totalizer(Model TOT01-M) Medal: Tortoise Medal- Personality: Trickster (Damages a part the foe is trying to use)

  • Strategy:
    • (Metabee ver)

Totalizer is slow, and tries to damage a part the foe tries to use, and the terrain doesn't help him. Try to disable his legs as he'll just go slower. Metabee can do heavy damage if he gets lucky, and you must try to dodge, so don't Snipe at him.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Again he's slow and Rokusho is fast enough to to heavy damage to Totalizer's legs even without scanning. Be sure to use Rokusho's Chanbara Sword until you can finish Totalizer off.

Sloan will groan about his loss and Samantha will send the cowardly Spike to fight Ikki.

Battle 3 - Spike and Krosserdog(original game) / Cyandog (CORE)

Get Krosserdog's / Cyandog parts. In the Original game there are many chances in the School to get Krosserdog parts, so you can have a complete set by the time you get to Mt. Odoro, and have a spare part that you will get later.

Opponent (Medarot 2): Krosserdog (Model DOG-1X / DOG-01-M, Medal: ? Medal, Personality: Vague)

Opponent (Medarot 2 CORE): Cyandog (Model DOG-00-M / DOG-4157, Medal: ? Medal, Personality: Vague)

  • Strategy:
    • (Metabee ver)

You'll be facing another shooting Medabot. Cyandog is almost as fast as Metabee, and isn't compatible with his medal, so he's weaker than Metabee. Metabee can just disable Cyandog's arms and legs but has to be careful when sniping.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Rokusho should Scan and stick to the Chanbara Sword, finishing Cyandog with his Pipo Hammer.

Annoyed, Samantha challenges Ikki herself:

Battle 4 - Samantha and Peppercat

Get one of Peppercat's parts in the Kuwagata version of Medarot 2, if you miss one, there are many chances in the school to get them all to use later with a Queen Medal. This is the first chance to get one of her parts in Medarot 2 Core.

Opponent: Peppercat (Model CAT01-F / Model CAT-3120, Medal: Queen Medal -- Personality ???)

  • Strategy:
    • (Metabee ver)

Metabee must be careful, despite the fact that being careful isn't his middle name. Peppercat is evasive and sneaky, being able to use her Thunder attacks on him at any time. Metabee must use his Meta-Missile, being able to use 100% accurate Missile attacks, and his semi-accurate Meta-Revolver if he gets lucky.

    • (Rokushou ver)

Rokushou needs to scan, and use his Chanbara Sword, because of the fact that he can evade as long as he doesn't use his Pipo Hammer, which is a Reckless skill, lowering his guard and leaving himself open to criticals and due to the fact that Rokushou is weakly armored, it isn’t a good idea. . Once Peppercat's legs are damaged, she can't evade any more and Rokusho can damage her with his Pipo Hammer.

After this, the Screws foolishly gang up on Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho, and in a heated moment Metabee / Rokusho uses the Medaforce Ultra Shot / Spiral Bolt, shocking the Screws. The Screws scatter and Ikki is free to roam the school and train. It's a good idea to reach lv10 for Metabee /Rokusho so that they master the Medaforce.

After that, train, get new parts around the school in random fights. Here's a list of random Medabots in the school as you'll probably go back here to grind up a few levels:

Model Number Model Name Location
DOG-1X Krosserdog School, Rarely found in Medabots/Medarot 2 CORE
CAT-1X Peppercat School, Medarot 2 only
TOT-1X Keithturtle(Totalizer) School, Medarot 2 only
RAT-0X Searchrat(Jorat) School; Medarot 2 only
SNA-1X Magdosnake School; Medarot 2 only
KIN-0X Kintaro School; Medarot 2 CORE only
MON-1X Turnmonkey School; Medarot 2 only
CLA-1X Kanehachi Mk II(Octoclam) School; Medarot 2 only
BER-1X Charlie Bear(Churlybear) School; common foe in all four versions.
HDG-0X* Sonic Tank(Soniktank) School; Medarot 2 only and after Kouji appears!
RBT-1X* Rabiwombat School; Medarot 2 only and after Kouji appears!

Chapter 1 - Nae event

Leave the school and and Ikki will meet Karin Junmai. after that, go to Nae's lab and select one of six medals:

  • Bat Medal - good with Anti-Air parts, has proficiency in the Strike, Shoot, Support and Interrupt Skills
  • Kappa Medal - Good with Anti-Sea parts, has proficiency in the Strike, Shoot, Defend and Heal skills
  • Mouse Medal - Good with Scanning parts, has proficiency in the Strike, Snipe and Support skills
  • Chameleon Medal - Good with Stealth parts, has proficiency in the Shoot, Support and Reckless skills
  • Rabbit Medal - Good with Time parts, has proficiency in the Shoot, Support and Reckless skills
  • Monkey Medal - Excellent with Interrupt / Disrupt parts, has proficiency in the Interrupt, Shoot, Strike and Support Skills

In the Kuwagata version, I would suggest that you get the Rabbit Medal so you can name it as Warbandit as a reminder to get Warbandit's parts. Be sure to get Warbandit's head part Tension Up, as Rokusho will get a speed boost, and you need a shooting Medabot, so be sure to get the Battle Rifle for another reason other than this one.

If you got a Monkey Medal, It only focuses on Interrupt the highest, and those who watched the anime will realize that technically, the Monkey Medal in Medarot 2 and 2 Core has the Shoot, Strike, Support and Disrupt skills, but its Disrupt skill is the highest, so if you think about it, Iwanoi should have trained Cyandog to use shooting parts before having him fight.

Once you get the Medal leave. You only have six times to get all six Medals and if you miss one, you will not get until later.

Chapter 2 - A Rival Appears

After going to the Warehouse, return to Omikuji School quickly and Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho will encounter Koji Karakuchi and Sumilidon / Warbandit.

These two beat up the Screws, having sworn to get revenge on the one responsible for tickling Karin. Once you meet up with Erika, she will push you into fighting Koji:

Battle 6 -- Koji Karakuchi and Sumilidon / Warbandit

Opponent: Sumilidon (STG-19207 / STG00-M) Medal: Cat Medal Personality: Vague (No preference, balanced stats) / Warbandit (KLN-11214 / KLN00-M) Medal ? Medal Personlality: .

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

Your rival is a Sumilidon, and his head part Hunter, uses a Shot Trap that damages shooting Medabots. His head is one of the parts you need to get, as in a later fight it comes in handy.

Use the Medaforce to blast Sumilidon and finish off with it again if Metabee didn't do enough damage.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Your rival is Warbandit, a high speed shooting Medabot. Have Rokusho destroy his arms with the Chanbara Sword, and finish him off with the Medaforce.

Like I said before make sure to get Sumilidon's / Warbandit's head part Hunter / Tension Up as they'll be useful later on.

After this, Erika will complain about Ikki not using the Medaforce to win and leaves.

There is an optional fight with 2 Tankars in the school. If you're playing the Rokusho version, Get the Vulcan or Gatling arms.

Erika gets wind of a new story involving a Medabot that tickles girls, and sends Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho to find it. The trio bump into the Medabot and Arika furiously chases it until it flees to a abandoned warehouse.

Ikki goes there and finds a strange man there. The man reveals himself to be a Rubberobo gang member and attacks Ikki:

Battle 5 -- Rubberrobo gang member

Opponent: Foxuno (CORE) / ??? (Original)

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

You'll have to avoid using Metabee's Meta-Machinegun for this fight as Foxuno uses Press attacks on his head part. Only use that part when Foxuno leaves himself open.

Its a good idea to get one of Foxuno's arm parts for a Melee based Medabot that you'll need, namely a customized Sumilidon.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Scan first, and use the Chanbara Sword, until Foxuno's arms are broken or wait for him to leave himself open with a Reckless attack.

After beating the thug, the Select Force arrives and Ikki hides. The corrupt Captain leaves after hauling the thug away.

In the warehouse, you'll find a:

  • (Metabee ver)

Tortoise Medal

Personality: Trickster (Damages a part the foe is trying to use)

Parts it likes: Laser and Beam parts.

  • (Rokusho ver)

Snake Medal

Personality: Trickster

Parts it likes: Bug and Virus parts.

Return to Erika and leave for Ikki's house.

You could, just transfer a copy of Sumilidon's parts / Warbonnet's parts and from the Parts Collection if you're playing the original game if you just want them early.

Chapter 3 - The Mt. Odoro Incident

Go back home, Ikki's dad will give him a lunchbox with a Male Tinpet. After that, go upstairs to Ikki's room and get the Penlight. Leave and set up your second Medabot, it could be a Krosserdog (In 2 CORE you can find all his parts in rare encounters) or a customized Warbandit / Sumilidon depending if you got the head parts Tension Up(Rokusho) / Hunter(Metabee) and the left arm parts Battle Rifle(Rousho) / Rapier(Metabee) and shooting based / grapple based biped leg parts, with a Rabbit Medal(Rokusho) / Mouse Medal(Metabee).

Go to the School to see the Screws stirring up trouble and trying to go to mount Odoro. Follow Erika there and she will request a warm-up battle:

Battle 6: Erika Amazake and Brass

Opponents: Sailor-multi x2 (Original) / Sailor-Multi (SLR01-F) Medal: ? Medal , Pretty Prime (VAL00-F) Medal: Ninja Medal

  • Strategy
    • (Original Kabuto and Kuwagata verions)

Have Metabee / Rokushou use the Medaforce on Brass. This is not a difficult battle if you make sure to disable both Sailor-Multi's arm parts.

    • (Metabee ver)

Since Metabee has the Medaforce, why not charge it up and blast Pretty Prime with his Issei Shageki?(Only works in Medarot 2 CORE) You've already got the Hunter and a Medal that has Melee skill (You actually need the Spider Medal for this job!), so set up traps for Brass and then beat her up if you can. Be careful, Pretty Prime can freeze opponents with her lance, she counterattacks, and she has a heavily armored shield.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Since you've got Rokusho and Warbandit, try having Warbandit speed up Rokusho to give him time to use the Medaforce so that Pretty Prime can be knocked out as it'll take too long and too dangerous to simply barrage her with a mix of Melee and Ranged attacks. Once Pretty Prime is weakened, have Warbandit or Rokusho finish her off when she isn't trying to counter. after that you can disable Brass pretty easily.

After that Ikki is free to roam Mt. Odoro, and if you go north a screen, you should see a tree. Interact with it to find a Rubberrobo in a easy optional fight. Other than that, try reaching Lv 10 - 25 for the time being.

This is the encounter list for Mt. Odoro:

Model Number Model Name Location
CLA-1 Kanehachi mk II / Octoclam Mt Odoro - Main Area and Lakeside
RAT-0 Searchrat / Jorat (Medarot 2 only), Mt Odoro
FLG-0 Flig Flag (Medarot 2 only), Mt Odoro

Go west and you'll encounter a Boy. He complains about his Medabot being stolen, and sends out his Toybox / Starpeda to fight Metabee / Rokusho:

Battle 7: A boy and Toybox / Starpeda

Opponent: Toybox (HBY00-M) Medal: Bear Medal Personality: Hot-headed / Starpeda(SFH00-M) Medal: Cat Medal Personality: Vague

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

This is a single foe so you can best him on 1v1 combat. Be careful as Toybox can slow down Metabee, and can seriously hurt him with Gravity attacks if Metabee uses his Meta-Machinegun, be careful when trying the Medaforce, as Toybox is a energy thief.

    • (Rokusho ver)

This is a single foe so you can best him on 1v1 combat. Don't try anything stupid, as Starpeda can counter. Try slashing him with the Medaforce, and smash the rest of his parts if you can.

There's an Aquamar that is the taxi here. Interact with the sign and he'll come up. Erika will pay for you, so you can easily go to the area in the middle of the pond.

You've got 4 chests to search, the uppermost chest on the right having a Ninja if you open it once. Open that chest again for a:

  • Metabee ver

Jellyfish Medal

Attribute: Bomb

Personality: Cool

  • If you got Soniktank parts earlier, this is going to be a powerful ally for the time being.

  • Rokusho ver

Queen Medal

Attribute: Stop

Personality: Cool

  • If you got Peppercat parts you can use the Medabot pretty soon being another powerful and highly evasive Medabot.

The Middle chest has a Medapart, namely the Psycho Missile

The bottom one has 100 yen.

The last chest is..... Empty!

Talk to the cabbie to go back. He'll change the sign and run off. Go right and down on the path to encounter Kouji and Karin. Talk to Kouji and he'll get annoyed and tell Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho to scram, and that he's looking for the ghost Medabot himself.

Go to the area with a bridge and cross it. you'll end up in the Hermits training grounds. Go to the back of the area and try to cross it. You'll meet the Ninja again, and he'll give you a:

  • (Metabee)

Bear Medal

Personality: Hot-headed

Attribute: Gravity

  • (Rokusho)

Kraken Medal

Personality: Hot-Headed

Attribute: Bind

Leave the premises and return to Mt. Odoro Pond and take the northern bridge. You'll be in an area investigated by the Select Corps.

Talk to the Girl there and the will challenge yo to a battle:

Battle 8: A girl and Churlybear

Opponents: Churlybear(BER01-M) Medal: Bear Medal, Pure Mermaid(MAR00-F)(CORE)/Maitin (MAR01-F)(original) Medal: Mermaid Medal Personality: Imitator(Mimics an ally's movements)

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Avoid Snipe / Reckless as Churlybear can do heavy damage, Metabee must use his Meta-Missile and Meta-Revolver on Pure Mermaid/Maitin to do damage. Remember that Maitin can't bring back broken parts.

    • (Rokusho)

Scan and give Extra Charges first and start using the Battle Rifle to do heavy damage if Churlybear Sniped first, and the goal of this fight is to break as many parts as you can, so Rokusho may have to Scan multiple times.

Try to go near the cave and you will accidently damage a Select members contacts. He will tell Ikki that he can't go in the cave.

Save the game.

Go to the Select Corps building. The wretched and lazy Captain Awamori is napping, so talk to the Select member for a battle:

Battle 9 Select force Member

Opponents: Attack-Tyranno (TIR00-M) Medal: Cat Medal, Air-Ptera(PTL00-M) Medal: Cat Medal, Landbrachio(BRA00-M) Medal: Bat Medal Personality: Cool

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Use Metabee's Meta-Missile, and if you get lucky you'll blast Attack-Tyrano to bits. Else, beat up his teamates with Anti-air and heavy attacks, then if Attack-Tyranno went Reckless, Snipe at him.

    • (Rokusho)

Use Rokusho's Pipo Hammer and if you're lucky , you'll smash his head part. Else, beat up his teamates with Anti-air and heavy attacks, then if Attack-Tyranno went Reckless, Snipe at him.

Go up to the Taxi Medabot, and you'll face a Rubberrobo!

Battle 10 Rubberrobo gangster

Opponents: Macdosnake(SNA01-M) Medal: Snake Medal Personality: Trickster, Gorem (DGU-1X) Medal: Ghost Medal Personality: Trickster

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Macdosnake is easy to beat. He only lowers accuracy so Metabee can blast him with his Meta-Missile. Be sure not to Bomb Gorem, as it will do nothing. Trash Macdosnake with high accuracy attacks.

    • (Rokusho)

Macdosnake is easy to beat. Rokusho can dodge his attacks anyway and strike back with the Chanbara Sword and Finish him with the Pipo Hammer

After the fight, Ikki will fall in to the river. He wakes up in an elderly woman's hut. That woman's name is Kannie and with an Aerial Medabot , fished him out of the bay. She will mention bad people hurting the Medabots she takes care of.

Leave the hut, and talk to each Medabot in the area until on of them asks to eat lunch with you. do this and you'll get the part Heavyweighter!

Go up to talk to a Flatstick and he will ask you for a battle. This fight is a bit easy, as Metabee / Rokusho can defeat him rather quickly. Go to the other side of the bay, and cross the bridge. Ignore the Aerial Medabot that lost Kannie's letter, as you'll get the letter later.

Go down the path and Ikki and Metabee / Rokusho will have to contend with:

Battle 11 Rubberrobo gangster

Opponents: Flatstick(MNT00-M) Medal: Snake Medal Personality: Trickster, Haniwa (HNI-1) Medal: Ghost Medal Personality: Trickster

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Flatstick is easy to beat. He only lowers accuracy so Metabee can blast him with his Meta-Missile. Be sure not to bast Haniwa with lasers, as it will do nothing. Trash Flatstick with high accuracy and Anti-Sea attacks.

    • (Rokusho)

Flatstick is easy to beat. Rokusho can dodge his attacks anyway and strike back with the Chanbara Sword and Finish him with the Pipo Hammer

More thugs challenge Ikki, but Henry arrives as his alter-ego the Phantom Renegade, scaring off the villains.

Pick up the letter, read it and give it to the Aerial Medabot. You'll be back at Kannie's hut. She'll give you a reward: a Large Box and a Small Box. Pick one and you'll get:

  • Large Box

100 yen

Female Tinpet

SLR01-F Sailor-Multi Medaparts:

Head: Variable Hair

Right Arm: Patter Vulcan

Left Arm: Short Shot

Legs: Flaregather

  • Note: In the Kuwagata version of Medarot 2, set up a Peppercat to use with the Queen Medal to train it.
  • Small Box

100 yen

Male Tinpet.

Talk to the Aerial Medabot and he'll bring you back upstream. Now go to the Aquamar near a sign and talk to him. say no to the first question and yes to the second to go back downstream!.

Talk to Kannie and to the Aerial Medabot, and get the package you didn't select the first time. Return to the wetern area of Mt. Odoro and talk to Aquamar again. Say yes to the First question and you'll be in Odoro Marsh.

Mount Odoro Marsh

  • First Floor

Ikki can't leave this place and has to find a way out.

Here's an encounter list for this area, because the game makes sure you get the Battle Rifle, Heavyweighter and Psycho Missile:

DRF-0X Dragonbeetle* Mt. Odoro Marh
BAT-0 Noctobat* Mt. Odoro Marsh
FFY-0 Fireflash Mt. Odoro Marsh
MTS-0 Hypocrite(Mantaprey) Mt. Odoro Marsh, (Medarot 2 only)
HDG-0 Soniktank Mt Odoro Marsh, (Medarot 2 only)
CMO-1 Natural Color Mt. Odoro Marsh,(Medarot 2 only)
CLA-1X Kanehachi Mk II Mt. Odoro Marsh
SCR-0 Poison Scorpi Mt. Odoro Marsh

Also, try reaching level 30, especially in the Original Kabuto version, so that Metabee learns his second Medaforce. Find and talk to Sloan for the second time you Robattle him:

Battles 12 and 13 -- Sloan and Totalizer (Round 2, Round 3)

  • Strategy

Opponents: Totalizer(TOT-1X / TOT01-M / TOT-201520 ) Medal: Tortoise Medal, Fireflash (FFY00-F) Medal: Kappa Medal - Personality: Cool

You get to fight Sloan four times early on in the game , so try to get Totalizer's Head, Legs and Arms in the Metabee version.

    • (Metabee ver)

Totalizer is as slow as ever. His partner doesn't change things and with Anti-Sea Parts, Metabee or Brass destroying Totailzer's legs , these two can be easily beaten.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Totalizer is as slow as ever and his partner doesn't change things. With Anti-Sea Parts, Rokusho's Scanning abilities and Warbandit's Extra Charges, these two are easily defeated.

Sloan uses his 'impressive' strength to move a boulder in the way. Blast it with the Battle Rifle and chase Sloan, who will use another boulder. Blast that one with the Psycho Missile and keep chasing him. Sloan, as dumb as he is, even will try this a third time. Smash it with the Heavyweighter and reach the Second floor.

  • Second Floor

Talk to Sloan again for the third time you must fight him. Its the same strategy as last time anyway. Walk up and the right and you'll find junk parts. Run left, then down and right to find a chest, open it for 1000 yen.

Find Spyke near the bottom of the screen and fight him:

Battle 14 Spyke and Cyandog (Round 2)

Opponents: Krosserdog(DOG-1X)/Cyandog(DOG00-M / DOG-4157) Medal: ? Medal, Mantaprey(MTS-0) Medal: Cat -- Personality: Vague

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

Cyandog was pretty weak before, and still hasn't improved, Mantaprey is weak and not much of a threat, only doing Sword attacks and can leave himself open to criticals, and against Metabee and his teammates, these two are almost a joke. Trash Mantaprey with the Meta-Misille and focus all fire on Cyandog.

    • (Rokusho)

Cyandog was pretty weak before, and is still that way now!, Mantaprey is not much of a threat, only doing Sword attacks. Against Rokusho and Warbandit, however makes Mantaprey pretty weak as neither of Spyke's Medabots have good defenses. Trash Mantaprey with the Pipo Hammer and the Gatling if you have one and focus all attacks on Cyandog.

Set up your fourth Medabot, it could be any complete or nearly complete set that is compatible with or uses the skills of your medals.

Get another pile of junk and find Samantha, however instead of fighting her, she leaves. Go to the deepest part of the cave to encounter the ghost Medabot.

Save the game, and in the Rokusho version, set up a Fireflash for the next few fights. In the Metabee version, give Metabee a Negate Bomb arm if you have one(The Hand Shutter), and set up a Totalizer with Floro's left or right arms, and for your Female Tinpet, use Brass's main body but with one of Pure Mermaid's arm parts.

The Ghost asks for parts, thinking it would bring someone back, revealing the fact that he was used. Koji appears and thinks that the Ghost was the problem. Ikki tries to reason with him, but Koji wants a fight:

Battle 15 - Koji and Sumilidon / Warbandit (Round 2)

Opponents: Sumilidon/Warbandit, Searchrat(RAT-0) - Medal: Mouse Medal- Personality: ??? (Original) / Sumilidon(Metabee ver) or Warbandit(Rokusho ver), Sakura-chan(Rockflower) Medal: Rabbit Medal -Personality: Hot-Headed(CORE).

  • Strategy

It is a good idea to get Sumilidon's / Warbandit's leg parts Sharp Edge / Abductor this time around. With the rival's Leg parts, your Sumilidon will be more balanced and his Flexor Sword will be more useful, and Warbandit will be able to evade more often, making Warbandit's legs good for Shoot skill combinations.

    • (Metabee)

(Medarot 2): There are two Medarot and a Searchrat is with Sumilidon this time, but remember: he's only that powerful against Metabee, so without his arms he'll be weak. Try using close combat, and healing Medabots and the Medaforce to win.

(Medarot 2 Core): There is a Sakura-chan here but he can't fight, so Sumilidon fights to protect him. Again Sumilidon can't beat Melee Medabots easily nor can he beat the Medaforce. I almost forgot --- Searchrat increases accuracy, so destroy him if you can.

    • (Rokusho)

(Medarot 2): There's a Searchrat with Warbandit this time, but remember: Warbandit is good against both Shooters and Fighters, and he'll get a major boost in speed, so disable his arms, as he is in the same boat as Rokusho.

(Medarot 2 Core): There is a Sakura-chan here but he can't fight, so Warbandit defends him. Warbandit is good against both Shooters and Fighters, and he'll get a major boost in speed so disable his arms, as he is in the same boat as Rokusho.

Then a mean Rubberrobo, namely Shiokara(Squidguts) shows up, revealing himself to be behind the Ghost incident. Ikki will challenge him to a fight and Koji will beat up one of the thugs:

BOSS Battle 1--> Shiokara and Dashbutton / Abyss Greater

Opponents: Dashbutton(BOR-0) Medal: Knight Medal Personality: Cool, Giggly Jelly(JEL-0) Medal: Jellyfish Medal / Abyss Greater(KNG00-M) x2 Medal: Devil Medal-Personality:

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

Shiokara uses a Giggly Jelly alongside his main Medabot, as he uses missle attacks that don't do much damage unless he Snipes, and Dashbutton does nothing but defend,so you'll need heavy attacks. You could use a modified Totalizer to smash through Dashbutton's armor and use Metabee's Medaforce to do a dent in Giggly Jelly or Dashbutton, while your Melee Medabot sets up Shot traps to do damage/ or if you had a healing Medabot as the 2nd partner, fixing any dents in Totalizer's armor. .

    • (Rokusho ver)

Do NOT use Rokusho as the leader here, and you'll see why. Abyss Greater is compatible with the Devil Medal and gains a massive power boost, so his Sacrifice attacks do massive damage and they aim for Rokusho. Have Warbandit or Fireflash as the leader, with Rokusho scanning, Warbandit giving the Abyss Greaters hell with crits(because they can't dodge after attacking), while Fireflash does heavy damage to them.

Be sure to get Dasbutton's / Abyssgeater's arm parts as you'll get

  • (Metabee)

Incomplete Dashbutton:

Head part: Switching

Leg part: Burly

You got the:

Spider Medal - Personality: Cool

Since you got the Spider Medal use it in, and name it as Sumilidon as the Hunter is compatible with it.

  • (Rokusho)

Incomplete Abyss Greater:

Head part: Extise

Leg part: Depthsole

You got the:

Phoenix Medal - Personalty:

You can set up the Fourth Tinpet with Abyss Greater's parts if you want to. This Medabot is a powerful ally as he can do heavy damage.

  • Note for Medabots/Medarot Ni CORE / Medarot 2:

Later in the Metabee version, you may want to get the New KWG-2 type, Zorin, and in the Rokusho version , you may want to get the New KBT-2 type, Bayonet. The reason for this is that you get Bayonet in the Metabee Version and Zorin in the Rokusho version by completing all Medalink Battles. If you’re playing the original game, just transfer Bayonet or Zorin from Medarot 2 Parts Collection.

Use the Penlight and roam the cave to pick up 2 Junk Parts. Get out the cave and go to Omikuji Town.

Chapter 3 - Nae event

Go to the lab and give the Junk you found to Dr. Aki. He'll be fixing them, so you'll have to do something else while waiting.

Go to Nae's office, talk to her and get one of the Medals that you didn't get.

Leave and Ikki will meet up with Erika, who will brag about her Medarotch and will be shocked when Ikki reveals the Prototype Medarotch that he has. Erika will comment about the Medaforce, but Ikki has a point about it not being a joke. After that train and get parts you don’t have. .

  • Note: The Junk Parts are actually the parts for the rare CMO-1 model Natural Color in the original game or the rare CMO-0X (CMO-31315 in the anime) model Multikolor in the remake. All he does is hide, but can be very powerful with parts with Sniper or Reckless skills.

Chapter 4 - Medabot Island

  • Note: In the original Medarot 2, winning the tournament gives you the Mermaid / Knight Medal, a Friend Card and Friend points. You can use these points to unlock rare Medabots. out of all of them, the MWB-0/MWB00-M model (MWB-13232 in the anime) Ambiguous has similar set-up as KBT-0 Metal Beetle, but is evasive, and is parially compatible with the Jellyfish Medal.
  • The LHB-0/LHB00-M model Atheist(Papyrak) has a similar set-up as KWG-0 Head Scissors, and is partially compatible with the Ninja Medal in Medarot 2 Core, but originally it's head part was compatible with the Mouse Medal. It might be a good idea to get these two in the Metabee and Rokusho versions, but be warned -- these Medabots should only be used as partners. It isn't a good idea to use Ambiguous / Papyrak as a leader without a Medabot that can defend them.
  • Out of these two, you for now should probably get Atheist or Ambiguous in the Kabuto version.

Leave the Lab and go back home, and Ikki will ask his parents about going to Medabot Island.

However Ikki can't and sulks, going to Erika's house, and then the docks. Apparently Erika's dad isn't going, leaving Ikki with the last ticket.

Go to the docks and get on the ship for a brief conversation with Erika, and after a while, you should be at Medabot Island.

  • Note: Kuwagata version players should get the parts for HellPhoenix / DeathPhoenix for the Phoenix Medal, or set up an Abyss Greater with a Kappa Medal for the time being. You can have DeathPhoenix do heavy damage, and use Rokusho to finish foes off due to the Burn status effect.

While at the docks, train Metabee / Rokusho , Sumilidon / Warbandit and your other Medabots to level 35 - 40, stock up on Roborobo Medals, and go to the western side of the island and go north to the Suprise Site. Register there, and go to the locker room.

  • Note: While you're at Medarot island, try getting the new RAY-1X Hoppingstar parts for the Tortoise Medal as they do high damage, especially when sniping.

Save and prepare for the first heat of the B Block, Erika Amzake and Brass!:

Battle 16: Erika Amazake and Brass

Opponents: Sailor-Multi (SLR01-F) Medal: ? Medal , Pretty Prime x2 (VAL00-F) Medal: Ninja Medal

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

Since Metabee has the Medaforce, why not charge it up and blast Pretty Prime? You've already got Sumilidon, so set up traps for Brass and then beat her up if you can. Be careful, Pretty Prime can freeze opponents with her blade, she counterattacks, and she has a heavily armored shield. There are 2 Pretty Prime, so be careful.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Since you've got Rokusho and Warbandit, try having Warbandit speed up Rokusho to give him time to use the Medaforce so that Pretty Prime can be knocked out as it'll take too long and is too dangerous to simply barrage her with a mix of Melee and Ranged attacks. Once Pretty Prime is weakened, have Warbandit or Rokusho finish her off when she isn't trying to counter. after that you can disable Brass pretty easily.

After winning, you'll go back to the locker room, return to the stage to face your next opponent: Karin Junmai and Nurse-chan!:

Battle 17: Karin Junmai and Nurse-chan

Opponents: Saintnurse(Neutranurse) Model NAS-1 - Medal: Mermaid Medal, Sailor-Multi(Original)/Sailormate(CORE) Model SLR-0, Tranculi(Draken) (SLN-0) Medal: Unicorn Medal

  • Strategy
    • Metabee ver

Nurse-chan is invincible when defending and Draken blocks the Medaforce, leaving Sailormate/Sailor-Multi as the only fighter. Try to have Sumilidon trap Sailor-Multi/Sailormate, damaging her indirectly, and when Nurse isn't guarding, have Totaliser with an Anti-air arm and blast Draken, shutting her down and allowing Metabee to use the Medaforce.

    • Rokusho ver

Nurse-chan is invincible when defending and Draken blocks the Medaforce, leaving Sailormate/Sailor-Multi as the only fighter. Try to have Rokusho Scan, and you could have Aviking destroy Draken with one hit, but you'd have to wait until Nurse-chan isn't defending. Once Draken's beaten try using the Medaforce on the remaining Medabots to at least damage them both (Hint! try Side Bolt to do damage, the finish off what's left.).

Go back to the stage to fight the Srews in order:

Battle 18 -- Sloan and Totalizer (Round 4)

Final chance early to get Totalizer.

  • Strategy

Opponents: Totalizer(TOT-1X / TOT01-M / TOT-201520 ) Medal: Tortoise Medal, Fireflash (FFY00-F) x2 Medal: Kappa Medal - Personality: Cool

You get to fight Sloan four times early on in the game , so try to get Totalizer's Head, Legs and Arms in the Metabee version.

    • (Metabee ver)

Totalizer is as slow as ever. His partner don't change things and with Anti-Sea Parts, Metabee or Sumilidon destroying Totailzer's legs , these two can be easily beaten.

    • (Rokusho ver)

Totalizer is as slow as ever and his partners don't change things. With Anti-Sea Parts, Rokusho's Scanning abilities and Warbandit's Extra Charges, these two are easily defeated.

If you did this fight, you should have a complete Totalizer.

Battle 19 Spyke and Cyandog (Round 3)

Third chance to get a Krosserdog/Cyandog part in Medarot 2 / 2 Core. In the Original game, you should have completed Krosserdog by now.

Opponents: Krosserdog(DOG-1X)/Cyandog(DOG00-M / DOG-4157) Medal: ? Medal, Mantaprey(MTS-0) x2 Medal: Cat -- Personality: Vague

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee ver)

Cyandog was pretty weak before, and still hasn't improved, The two Mantaprey aren't very strong and not much of a threat, only doing Sword attacks and can leave themselves open to criticals, and against Metabee and his teammates, these two are almost a joke. Trash both Mantaprey with the Meta-Misille or any piercing weapon, and focus all fire on Cyandog.

    • (Rokusho)

Cyandog was pretty weak before, and is still that way now!, The two Mantaprey aren't much of a threat, only doing Sword attacks. Against Rokusho and Warbandit, however makes Mantaprey pretty weak as neither of Spyke's Medabots have good defenses. Trash Mantaprey with the Pipo Hammer and the Gatling if you have one and focus all attacks on Cyandog.

Get out the locker room to fight the last of the Screws:

Battle 20 Samantha and Peppercat

Opponents: Peppercat(CAT-1X), Redscarleth(Redlace) x2 Medal: Spider- Personality: Cool.

(Medarot 2 CORE) Second chance to get Peppercat's parts early. If you got the Light Circuit, get the Quick Alert this time around!

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Don't use Metabee as leader for this fight, as Redlace use Shot Traps. Instead use Sumilidon, who'd you probably trained by now. Have Sumilidon beat up Peppercat without using Reckless tactics, while Metabee charges up the Medaforce, and Pure Mermaid or Sailor-Multi either heals the group or scans and snipes at Peppercat. Beware of getting stopped as Peppercat can do critical damage.

    • (Rokusho)

Have Rokusho and your Peppercat(in the original game!) for this fight. Don't use Warbandit as a leader as the two Redlace will use Shot Traps. Have Rokusho beat up Peppercat without using his Pipo Hammer, and use the Medaforce to defeat her or one of her teammates off.

After that, Ikki will have completed the B block heats, for now you can't continue the Medarot Island tournament without completing a few sidequests.

Erika tells Ikki to come watch the parade on Medarot Island. Watch the scenario to see Doctor Hebereke (Doctor Armond, a.k.a., the self proclaimed Doctor Meta-Evil in the dub). He gives a speech and leaves.

En route, a Roborobo gang member steals a girl’s Medal and flees. Ikki and Metabee / Rokushou give chase, but a crazy guy shows up, revealing his name as Tequonic / Ryo. He challenges Ikki to a Robattle:

Battle 21 -- Tequonic / Ryo (Round 1)

You fight Tequonic in the Kabuto version and Ryo in the Kuwagata version.

Opponents: Sabotenna(Sabotina) x3 (Kabuto) / Amboina(Spiralle) x3 (Kuwagata)

  • Strategy
    • (Tequonic)

You need to set Shot traps for the Sabotina, who uses fast and weak Gatling attacks, so bring Sumilidon for this fight, and have him use Double Trap to damage them heavily, with Metabee using Ultimate Shot on them to do heavy damage, evade if necessary, and make sure to have Brass scan multiple times to do heavy damage.

    • (Ryo)

You need to use Melee Traps if you have them as Spiralle uses Sword attacks, but else, use Warbandit as the leader this time, setting up Extra Charges, and have Rokusho scan and have him beat up Spiralle when he goes Reckless. Use Peppercat to stop them or use HellPhoenix to burn them and setting the team to do critical damage in an instant.

After that the crazy man is hauled away, leaving Ikki free to continue chasing the Rubberrobo.

Walk through a narrow lane and chase down the thief. The man will fight Ikki and Metabee / Rokushou:

Battle 22 - Rubberrobo gangster

Opponents(CORE): Magiclown and Gorem

  • Strategy
    • (Metabee)

Remember, Explosive attacks don't miss, and do heavy damage if you Sniped or went Reckless. Magiclown uses these so attack him with Metabee's Meta-Missile , and make sure you equiped Gorem's left arm, so that Metabee can't take Damage. You can win this fight with one Medabot and take no damage!

    • (Rokushou)

Remember, Explosive attacks don't miss, and do heavy damage if you Sniped or went Reckless. Magiclown uses these so attack him with Rokushou's Pipo Hammer , and make sure you equiped Gorem's right arm, so that Rokushou can go Reckless all he wants and not take Damage. You can win this fight with one Medabot and take no damage!

More thugs surround Ikki, and Kouji who’d just shown up. Hikaru appears again and scares the thugs off.

The thugs will leave, and drop two Medals. Kouji will take one, and Ikki should take the other. At this point, Kouji will realize that Ikki missed the parade, and that Erika will get angry. Go back, and give the girl back her Medal, Erika will storm in, and misunderstanding the situation, will storm out the room.

You now have two options: Talk to Erika, or Talk to Karin. It matters which you choose, as you can’t go back and do the other.

Option 1 – Talk with Erika

Go to the Arcade and talk to Erika. You’ll have to play a Minigame where you defend the select force from a Roborobo who uses Bombs. Use the Select Officer to block the bombs. Once you win the Game, Erika will admit that she knew what was going on, and wanted to see how Ikki would respond to the situation. After that, the tournament’s A Block has started.

Option 2 – Interact with Karin

You’ll see Karin standing near some bushes near the haunted house attraction. Talk to Karin, and she’ll follow Ikki as an NPC for the time being.

Enter the Haunted House and you’ll have to find ghost Medarot in the Bushes. Go one step up and five steps left. Go one step up and search the left bush for another medabot. Then, walk two steps up and four steps right. Take one step down and two steps right. Search the bottom bush. Now, just head up and enter the door.

Follow the winding road and a Ghost Medabot will appear and try to hide. Talk to it for another Robattle. Then, exit through the right door.

The next room is pitch black! To exit this room, just take three steps right, two steps down, three steps right, two steps up and a step right. You will be knocked away from the door. So, just take two steps right. You will see two Karins in the next room, you will automatically find out which is the real one and Robattle with the Ghost Medarot. Follow the runaway Ghost and you will enter another dark room.

Take four steps down, two steps left, four steps up, two steps left, four steps down and four steps left to another room.

A Block heats -- Ikki VS Kouji!!

Go to the Surprise Site for the A Block heats and go to the locker room. Talk to the only man there and get ready for the first round:

Battle 23: Prince Kir and RedMatador

Opponent: Redmatador (COW00-M) x3 - Medal:

Strategy:

(Kabuto): This guy’s Medabots have rather weak attacks and most of the time, they defend. Trash them with Sumilidon’s Flexor Sword and Metabee’s Medaforce.

(Kuwagata): This guy’s Medabots have rather weak attacks and most of the time, they defend. Trash them with Warbandit’s guns and Rokushou’s Pipo Hammer.

After that is done, save, and prepare for the second round. For those who are playing the original game, you’ll be right to notice that you do not get Redmatador parts. In fact, all Generation 1 Medarots are locked, which is why you have to use Second Generation Medarots the whole time...

Battle 24: Shandy and King Pharaoh

Opponent: Kingpharaoh (EGT00-M) x3, Medal: Bear

Strategy:

(Kabuto), (Kuwagata): King Pharaoh is a Grappling Medarot that utilizes Napalm attacks on his head part. He uses Break Melee attacks, so don’t snipe or go reckless at all until King Pharaoh arms are disabled. (CORE – Metabee): Instead of being a multitype performance, Kingpharaoh is a hard shooter. In fact, use Sumilidon’s Shot Traps to trip it up, with Metabee destroying one with the Medaforce. Keep Pure Mermaid as an ally to heal all of your team.

(CORE – Rokusho): Instead of being a multitype performance, Kingpharaoh is a hard shooter. In fact, give Rokusho a Cancel Gravity arm, and unleash the Medaforce on all three King Pharaoh!!

Prepare for the next round:

Battle 25 – Spumoni and Auroraqueen

Opponents: Auroraqueen (QUN-0) x3, Medal: Queen

  • Strategy:
    • (Kabuto): AuroraQueen is no different from Peppercat, so you may need to use a Poison Scorpi’s arm just to weaken Auroraqueen, Equip a Medarot with the Victory Armor beforehand, and destroy her with the Medaforce or any powerful attack
    • (Kuwagata): AuroraQueen is no different from Peppercat, so you may need to use a Poison Scorpi just to weaken Auroraqueen, Equip a Medarot with the Victory Armor beforehand, and destroy her with the Medaforce or any powerful attack!

Talk to the Man again to see the game version of a fight that anime watchers will recognize:

Battle 26 -- Joe Swihan and Teepee

Opponent: Teepee (NTB00-M / NTB-14202) Medal: Phoenix

  • Strategy:
    • (Metabee): Keep with Metabee’s base parts and fire constantly at Joe’s team, despite the fact that Teepee constantly hurls acid at all enemies, you need to repair the damage he causes, with Pure Mermaid around. Use your Third teammate to set Grapple Traps. If you're playing the original version, have a Hoppingstar do massive damage by sniping. That Hoppingstar should be your third teammate.
    • (Rokusho): Keep with Rokushou’s base parts and switch his hammer for a Cheapertrap this time. Despite the fact that Teepee constantly hurls acid at all enemies, you need to repair the damage he causes, with Pure Mermaid around. Use the fact that Rokushou scans to have WarBandit Snipe at one of the three Teepee. If you're playing the original version, have Peppercat stop all three Teepee, with Hoppingstar doing massive damage by sniping.

You can now progress to the next round, but wait -- It looks like that crazy guy Tequonic / Ryo has shown up!!

You can now fight him twice, once in the locker room and in the next match.:

Battle 27 -- Tequonic / Ryo (Round 2 – Locker Room Fight)

Use Peppercat to stop them and setting the team to do critical damage in an instant.

Go talk to the Man at the end of the locker room and you'll have to fight

Battle 28 -- Tequonic / Ryo (Round 3 -- Tournament Fight)

Use Peppercat to stop them and setting the team to do critical damage in an instant.

Why am I not surprised, as this arrogant guy is rather easily beaten. Don’t get cocky after beating all these competitors, and remember to save, because you will have to fight Kouji in the Final Round!!

Go talk to the Man one last time to face Kouji. Ikki and Kouji have a friendly exchange this time, and decide to make it more of a friendly competition:

Battle 29 - Koji and Sumilidon / Warbandit (Round 3)

Opponents: Sumilidon or Warbandit, Searchrat(RAT-0) x2 - Medal: Mouse Medal- Personality: ??? (Original) / Sumilidon(Metabee ver) or Warbandit(Rokushou ver), Sakura-chan(Rockflower) x2 Medal: Rabbit Medal -Personality: Hot-Headed(CORE).

Strategy It is a good idea to get Sumilidon's / Warbandit's Arm parts Flexor Sword / Range Shooter this time around. With the rival's Leg parts, your Sumilidon will be more balanced and his Flexor Sword will be more useful, and Warbandit will be able to evade more often, making Warbandit's legs good for Shoot skill combinations.

(Metabee) (Medarot 2): There are two Medarot with Sumilidon this time, but remember: he's only that powerful against Metabee, so without his arms he'll be weak. Try using close combat (i.e., another Sumilidon), and healing Medabots and the Medaforce to win.

(Medarot 2 Core): There are two Sakura-chan here but they can't fight, so Sumilidon fights to protect them. Again Sumilidon can't beat Melee Medabots easily nor can he beat the Medaforce. I almost forgot --- Sakura-chan increases Sumilidon's speed, so destroy him if you can.

(Rokushou) (Medarot 2): There's a Searchrat with Warbandit this time, but remember: Warbandit is good against both Shooters and Fighters, and he'll get a major boost in speed, so disable his arms, as he is in the same boat as Rokushou.

(Medarot 2 Core): There are two Sakura-chan here but they can't fight, so Warbandit defends them. Warbandit is good against both Shooters and Fighters, and he'll get a major boost in speed so disable his arms, as he is in the same boat as Rokushou.

Once you beat Kouji, the referee will announce the winner and will give you:

Friend Card and some Friend Points

Personality: Copycat (Tends to imitate the previous actions from allies.)

Sabotenna’s Parts:

SAB-01 – Sombrero

SAB-02 – Needle Gun

SAB-03 – Gatling Gun

SAB-04 – Swift Attack

/

(Kuwagata Ver):

Knight Medal

Parts It likes: Defend type parts

Personality: Cool

Spiralle’s Parts:

ANB-01 – Maxima Pouch

ANB-02 – Maxima Sword

ANB-03 – Maxima Drill

ANB-04 – Assault

Ending of the tournament

Exit the locker Room and talk to Dr Armond. He’ll congratulate Ikki and Metabee / Rokushou and challenge them:

Rubberobo Boss Battle 2 – Dr Meta-Evil / Prof. Hebereke (Round 1)

Note: If you’re playing Medarot 2 CORE, get Bayonet’s Head Part “Reaction Bomb” in the Kuwagata Version and Zorin’s Head Part “Broad Antenna” in the Kabuto Version.

Opponents(Original): Noctobat (BAT01-M), Frappé (SBL00-F), Poison Copy (SCR00-M)

Opponents(CORE): Bayonet (KBT02-M), Solin (KWG02-M) x2

  • Strategy
    • (Medarot 2 Kabuto): Noctobat is easily beaten with Anti-Air Attacks, while Frappe and Poison Copy are slow, so bring a Totalizer with a Magne-Missile (Noctobat’s Left arm) and a Go-Up (Floro’s Right Arm) to this battle or a Hoppingstar with the Tortoise Medal, with a Sailor-Multi with the Mermaid Medal and the Cure Hand part with you as a healer and sniper, while Metabee unleashes his Issei Shageki on any of the foes.
    • (Medarot 2 Kuwagata): Noctobat is easily beaten with Anti-Air Attacks, while Frappe and Poison Copy are slow but deadly, so bring a Hoppingstar with you to use as a sniper to trash them pretty quickly as Hoppingstar is the best Medarot for the terrain, while Peppercat or Poison Copy can be used as allies. Have Rokusho Scan twice, and charge and unleash the Medaforce.
  • Strategy(CORE)
    • (Metabee ver): Bayonet and Zorin are more heavily armored than Metabee and Rokusho, and despite this their Medals aren’t compatible with them, so they’re rather weak.

I suggest that your team’s Medal levels are at least 35 to 45, so that they are strong enough to fight them. If you have Saintnurse’s Head Part ‘’Holy Wall’’, use it on your female Medarot and set Grap traps for the Zorin, or Bring Sumilidon in and trap Bayonet multiple times and later use the Medaforce Double Trap while you are using Saintnurse to defend and making sure the team doesn't get damaged, and Metabee makes Bayonet take a heavy hit from his Medaforce Issei Shageki.

Explore Milky's Castle

Exit the Surprise site and talk to Erika. After conversing with her, she’ll follow Ikki for the time being.

Go to the roller coaster attraction through the left entrance. Head up and you will have a fun short roller coaster ride. Now, exit the building and then exit right. After a conversation about a suspicious camera flash, head left and talk to the boy there. Head up and search the middle bush. A Rubberobo thug will come out of it. He will run away again.

Go to the northern area of Medarot Island.
