X-Project

The X-Project (X計画) was the official name for a series of fan-made Medarot contests held in Comic BomBom. The winning entries became official Medarots and appeared in several Medarot games and manga.
Medarot Navi featured the most X-Project Medarots and labeled some by putting an -X suffix on their model numbers. Many of the designs were modified by the game's artist, Fujioka Kenki, to have them match the art style.
Some X Medarots, for example Tyrrellbeetle, were designed by Fujioka Kenki using elements from several fan-submitted Medarots.
