Magentacat (マゼンタキャット) is a cat-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[edit]

Magentacat is a magenta colored Medarot that resembles a cat girl. It has a thunderbolt symbol on her forehead, and rounded fingers on its hands that allow it to electrocute its enemies. It has a tail with a plug at the end, and its feet have also plug-like extensions. It is a quick Medarot suited for close-range fighting, and its electric ability allows it to stop enemies in their tracks.

Magentacat uses a significantly different design in its appearance in the Medarotter Rintarou manga, with white shoulders, a shorter skirt, and a more rectangular headpiece with a Medarot logo instead of a thunderbolt. The same design was later re-used for its Medarot Navi appearance.

Its name, together with Cyandog's and Yellowturtle's, represents the CMYK color model, which is able to form any visible color.

In the games[edit]

Magentacat is a quick bipedal Medarot with Thunder attacks on its head and arms. Its parts are best used with the Queen Medal.

In Medarot 1[edit]

Magentacat is used by Iseki, and is the only Medarot capable of using Thunder attacks in the entire game. Iseki uses a team of up to three of them. Aside from Iseki, Magentacat is one of the possible opponent Medarot used by "pre-schooler"-type random encounters in the Medarot Company arena and can also be encountered in the tournament battle against Kirara. Its parts can be purchased at the import store in the Shopping Area.

In Medarot: Perfect Edition, it is more difficult to obtain as it is no longer sold in the Import Shop. Its parts can be acquired from the same battles as the original game or by fighting the Chick Seller in the post-game, if one gets the "Blue Chick" ending.

In Medarot 2[edit]

Magentacat's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred in from Medarot 1. It was replaced by the new CAT-type, Peppercat.

In Medarot R[edit]

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting おかん that is ranked opponent number 27.

In Medarot Navi[edit]

Magentacat appears again using its design from the Medarotter Rintarou manga. Its parts can be found in treasure chests scattered around Cluster.

Part Locations:

Taser -- Pyramid Block

Stun Gun -- Old Castle Block

Stun Stick -- Frozen River Block

Cat Walk -- Desert Block

In Medarot 8[edit]

Magentacat makes a reappearance in Medarot 8 as a DLC-exclusive Medarot. It appears along with Chrotojil and Shinzan in the seventh DLC mission, which can be downloaded for 300 yen ($2.40).

Its model number is now CAT00.

In the manga[edit]

In Medarot 1[edit]

Iseki owns her, and she is seen by the first time during a team Robottle, with Yanma's Cyandog and Kubota's Yellowturtle at her side, against Hikaru's Metal Beetle and Kirara's Alumi. She has the ability to walk over the power lines quickly. This ability is named the Cat Walk. This allowed her to get an advantage for her team. However, Metabee cut the wires by shooting at them. At the end, Magentacat stood in a single post, and as she couldn't move anymore, she was electrified and lost the Robottle.
