Mio Shirakabe (シラカベ ミオ ) is a main character in Medarot 9. A student of MEDA Academy, she becomes one of the first student Tenma becomes acquainted with when he joins the school. A highly confident and somewhat erratic person, Mio believes herself to be the cutest girl in the world. Due to her personality, she has earned the ire of many of the falculty's member and had to leave the school's Idol Club after less than a month, leading her to only confide with her Medarot partner, a Dear Stage nicknamed "Lapis Lazuli".
Throughout the course of the story, Mio joins the Exploration Club and despite showin her trademark self-centeredness, grows to truly care about the club. She is also said to be a highly talented dancer.
