Maiko Agata (アガタマイコ) is a character in Medarot 1. Hikaru's mother, she worries over her son's academic assiduity and has little interest in Medarots.

Medarot 1[edit]
After Hikaru awakens from his dream, she tells him to take Bonaparte on his daily exercise. This starts a chain of events that leads to Bonaparte finding Hikaru's starter Medal and Hikaru becoming a Medarotter.
Throughout the course of game, she is found inside the Agata household. In reaction to story events, she often tells Hikaru to focus on school first.
In Medarot Perfect Edition, she is given additional dialogue. In particular, an event is added when Hikaru enters the Shopping District where she appears in a hurry and explains her husband was supposed to deliver blueprints to the Select Headquarters but forgot them at home. She then asks Hikaru to bail his father out.
