Should I continue naming Ikki's Smilodonad and Warbonnet as Ronoji (for Smilodonad) and Menoji (for Warbonnet)? PowerBeetle (talk) 14:47, 31 July 2024 (MDT)

If that's their names, go ahead. Vinix (talk) 18:50, 31 July 2024 (MDT)

Well, I had to call them that due to them being highly similar to Ikki's Metabee and Rokusho, and they share the same types of Medals and personalities in the game. i.e., Ronoji and Rokusho both have a Kuwagata Medal, and Menoji and Metabee both have a Kabuto Medal.PowerBeetle (talk) 19:59, 31 July 2024 (MDT)

Since M2 Parts Collection and MDS are still in Japanese, I’m not fully aware of the context. Here’s a tentative of how it should be interpreted:

  • If these are the default medal/tinpet names in M2PC, then it makes sense to call the bots by these names.
  • If Ikki obtained the medals in a different context in M2PC, then they are separate bots from Metabee and Rokusho, despite having similar personalities.
  • If these names are not mentioned in M2PC but are the names of Machairodus and Maasai Moran in MDS, then Warbonnet and Smilodonad from M2PC are different bots. It’s likely that Machairodus and Maasai Moran are "possibly" Rokusho and Metabee.
  • If those are their names in both M2PC and MDS, then they are separate from Metabee and Rokusho. Vinix (talk) 23:19, 31 July 2024 (MDT)

Gotcha. The second reason I've referred to these two by those names was because other Medarotters such as Kouji use Smilodonad and Warbonnet, and didn't really give their Medarots these nicknames.PowerBeetle (talk) 07:55, 1 August 2024 (MDT)
