List of Medabots AX characters; the names below are dub versions due to the game being released exclusively for the west:

Main Characters

• Ikki Tenryou - The playable character. His main Medabot is Metabee or Rokusho depending on the version.

• Erika Amazake - Ikki's childhood friend. Her main Medabot is Brass.

• Koji Karakuchi - Ikki's rival. His main Medabot is Sumilidon regardless the version. He is one of the two possible final opponents in the Robattle Championship.

• Karin Junmai - Koji's classmate and Ikki's love interest. Her main Medabot is Neutranurse.

• Spyke - One of the Screws. His main Medabot is Krosserdog.

• Sloan - One of the Screws. His main Medabot is Totalizer.

• Samantha - The leader of the Screws. Her main Medabot is Peppercat.

• Henry - The convenience store clerk who sold Ikki's first Medabot. He return using a Warbandit. He is one of the two possible final opponents in the Robattle Championship.

Rubberobo Gang

• Squidguts - A high-ranking member of the Rubberobo Gang. His main Medabot is Crimson King.

• Gillgirl - A high-ranking member of the Rubberobo Gang. Her main Medabot is Saldron.

• Shrimplips - A high-ranking member of the Rubberobo Gang. Notably in this game his main Medabot is Babbyblu. A Medabot that is usually reserved to be the final boss or extra boss in other games.

• Seaslug - The leader of Rubberobo Gang and final boss. For the first time he has the honor of using Mega-Emperor as his main Medabot.
