Arika is a recurring character in the Medarot series. A childhood friend of Ikki Tenryou, Arika has amibitions to become a journalist and as such is always interested to investigate the going-ons in town. She is tomboyish and has a short temper, though behind her flippant attitude is a real fondness for Ikki.
As a Medarotter, Arika favours Sailor-type and female Knight-type Medarots, with her original Sailor-Multi (nicknamed "Brass") being her trademark medarot.
