Smilodonad
Sumilidon (スミロドナッド sumirodonaddo, Smilodonad) is a STG-type Medabot who, alongside Warbandit, are the first series made in resemblance to the opossition of the KBT and KWG series.
Description
Sumilidon is a Medabot that resembles a saber tiger. As such it has its Flexor Sword part, which deals a big ammount of damage. The Straw Hammer is great for speed attacks, but it is somehow weaker than its other arm. The Hunter medapart allows Sumilidon to protect itself from any shooting attacks.
In the anime
Sumilidon is Koji's Medabot. He is not much of a talker, usually only speaking when spoken to or when it is extremely important. He is a strong contender and his specialty, as listed in the dub, is the Shadow Sword. During the robattle with Team U.S.A. Sumilidon gained the ability to use the Medaforce, though many believed that it was because he had a rare medal that was not the case as Dr. Aki ran multiple test on Sumilidon's medal and the results being inconclusive. It is never truly explained how Sumilidon could use the Medaforce. Dr. Aki had a theory that Sumilidon might have had some ancestral connections to the rare medals giving him the Medaforce but this is just a theory.[1] However, this might have something to do with the fact any medal can use different medaforces in the games.
In the games
In Medarot 2 and Medarot 2 CORE
It appears as Koji's first Medabot. Later, he backups his Sumilidon with Medabots like Rockflower.
In Medarot 2 Parts Collection
It, together with Warbandit, is one of the two first Medabots the player can have.
In Medarot 4
The only way to acquire it is through an auction in Medaropolis, where they are also auctioning a King medal. Koji is also seen with his Sumilidon stored in his room, as he is now using Exor. It is a Kabuto version exclusive.
