Description[edit]

This is an infobox template for use on character pages. It automatically categorizes the page under Category:Characters.

To use the template, put the following text at the top of the article and fill in the applicable sections (see below). If you don't know what to put for a section, write ???.

{{Infobox Character
| name =
| image =
| resize = yes
| name-j =
| name-r =
| name-e =
| gender =
| occupation =
| medarots =
| family =
| country =
| voicedby =
| appear-game =
| appear-else =
}}

Note that not all sections apply for every character. If a character has no official English name, family, nationality, or voice actors, you can simply remove those sections or leave them blank.

  • Name - Write the name of the character. (Use the original names, not the ones from the official English release.)
    • For name-j, write the original name in Japanese text, including kanji if the is any (eg. 甘酒 アリカ).
    • For name-r, write the romaji (the Japanese name in english letters) (eg. Amazake Arika).
    • For name-e, write the character's name as it appears in official English-translated games or media (eg. Erika Amazake). This can be removed/left blank if it doesn't apply.
  • Gender - Write the character's gender. (Male, female, unknown, or N/A.)
  • Occupation - Write the character's occupation(s), seperated by a comma if there's more than one. Include "Student" if they're a student.
  • Medarots - Link to the Medarots that the character uses in order of importance, as well as their name if they have one. (eg. Brass (Sailor-Multi).)
  • Family - Link to the character's family members, with their relationship to the character in brackets. This can be removed/left blank if it doesn't apply.
  • Country - Write the character's nationality (eg. Japanese). This can be removed/left blank if it doesn't apply.
  • Voicedby - Write the character's voice actor(s) with the language of the performance in brackets. (eg. Eri Sendai (Japanese).) This can be removed/left blank if it doesn't apply.
  • Appear-game - List the video games that the character appears in in order of release, seperated by commas. Write "None" if they haven't appeared in any.
  • Appear-else - List the other media that the character appears in (such as anime, manga, and cards) in order of release, seperated by commas. Write "None" if they haven't appeared in any.

Unless otherwise specified, multiple entries in a section should be seperated with a <br/> to make them appear on seperate lines.

Advanced[edit]

Image resizing[edit]

If you the picture you're using for a character is very small and you don't want it to be resized, change the "resize = yes" line to "resize = no".

If the picture is wider than it is tall, this line should be used instead of "resize = yes":

| resize-width = yes

Categorization[edit]

If you don't want the template to categorize the page it's on under Category:Characters, add |cat=false.
