Tanks for the Metabee

Art & Color: Ben Y. Dunn
Story: Scott Russell

While going to school, Ikki and Metabee find a young girl crying on the sidewalk. She explains that someone stole the Medal of her Medabot Sugar Princess while she was taking a nap. The pair promises to find the Medal and Ikki quickly notices tracks on the ground, but says he cannot follow them yet as school starts in five minutes.

As he says that, The Screws appear and taunt him with their new Medabot, Battle Tank. Ikki reiterates he needs to go to class but Spyke shoves him to the ground, which makes Ikki realizes the tracks must be Battle Tank's. Accusing The Screws of having stolen the Medal, Ikki challenges them to a Robattle. Metabee easily dodges Battle Tank's attack and tears him apart, sending The Screws packing. Having gotten Sugar Princess's Medal back, Metabee gives it to her owner.
