This is a list of stats, parameters, and in-battle effects that appear in Medarot S: Unlimited Nova.
(For descriptions of the actions or attacks that parts perform, see Actions in Medarot S. For the stat values on individual parts, see Parts in Medarot S.)
Player stats
Player level
プレイヤー レベル
- This is a representation of how much you've played the game.
- You earn player experience by using energy (10 energy = 10 experience).
- Player level determines the maximum energy you can hold (increases by 5 every level), as well as how many friends you can have on your friend list.
- You can view the amount of experience needed for the next level by tapping the number at the top left of the main menu screen.
- Leveling up fully restores your energy.
Energy
エナジー
- This is your "stamina" for playing story missions and event battles.
- It takes between 10 and 60 energy to start a battle (depending on the level/difficulty).
- Energy recharges at a rate of 1 per minute, and the maximum energy you can hold depends on your player level.
- If it runs out, it can be fully refilled every 6 hours by watching a video ad, or any time by spending a Ruby or an "Energy EX" item. You can also use "Energy Half" item to recover half of your maximum energy.
- Whenever energy is refilled by items, ads, or leveling up, it can be stored above your max energy, and simply won't recharge over time until the number goes back below your maximum.
Friend Points (FP)
フレンド ポイント
- FP are points you receive for using other people's Medarots instead of your own as the third Medarot on your team.
- You receive 50 points for using a stranger's Medarot, 100 points for using a friend's, and 200 points for using a story character's (only available on certain story missions).
- FP can be spent on the FP Gacha, which dispenses power up items, 1 star Medarots, and Medarotters.
Part stats
Each part in the game has a set of stats that determines its effects in battle.
All parts
Part Level
パーツLv.
- New to this game, parts can now be levelled up using Booster items.
- Levelling up a part significantly improves its stats, making it a very important aspect of raising your Medarot.
- A part's maximum level depends on its rank, and the rank can only be increased once it reaches its maximum level.
Rank
ランク
- This is the "star level" of the part (ranging from 1-5 stars).
- Rank can be increased by using Research Points and items (Cyplasium Alloy and NFRP) once the part is at max level.
- Increasing the rank increases the maximum level for the part as well as improving the effects of its actions (see Actions in Medarot S for the differences).
- Different Medarots come with different starting Ranks (between 1 and 3 stars), but all of them have the ability to reach 5 stars.
Research Points
研究pt.
- This is a resource used for ranking up parts.
- Research Points are tracked on a per-part basis, and points are earned every time you obtain a duplicate copy of the part (5 points for 1 star parts, 20 for 2 star, and 100 for 3 star).
- If you don't have enough Research Points collected, you can supplement the number with "Research Data ROM" items that count for 1 Research Point each.
- 1000 points total are required to upgrade a part from 1 star to 5 star.
Head and arm parts
Armor
装甲
- This is the part's HP in battle.
- When the armor reaches 0 by taking damage, the part is destroyed. When arm parts are destroyed, they can no longer be used. When the head part is destroyed, the Medarot shuts down.
- Armor and broken parts are automatically replenished at the end of every battle.
Success
成功
- This is an attacking part's accuracy.
- The higher this number is, the lower the chance the enemy dodging the attack (or it being a grazing/カスリ hit that does less damage).
- It also increases the chance of a critical hit, and has a minor impact on the amount of damage dealt by the attack.
- For non-attacking actions, this value is blank.
Power
威力
- This decides how much damage an attacking part does.
- For attacks with the Scatter or Full effects, the power value is divided between each hit/part damaged.
- For non-attacking actions, this value is blank.
Charge
充填
- This is how fast the Medarot reaches the center line after selecting the part.
- Higher numbers = faster.
Cooldown
冷却
- This is how fast the Medarot returns to the command line after performing the part's action.
- Higher numbers = faster.
Ammo / Uses
回数
- This is how many times the part can be used per-battle.
- Only present on head parts.
- The "Reload" Medaforce can restore these mid-battle.
Skill
スキル
- This is the category the part's action falls under.
- If the Medal is compatible with the part's skill, it will get a bonus to speed and/or attack power based on its skill level, as well as giving experience in that skill level every time you use the part.
- Possible Skills are:
- Melee (かくとう) - Physical attacks
- Shooting (しゃげき) - Ranged attacks
- Support (たすける) - Actions that give positive stat bonuses
- Heal (なおす) - Actions that recover armor or restore parts
- Protect (まもる) - Actions that defend ally Medarots
- Set-up (しかける) - Actions that set traps or plants
- Special (特殊) - Used for other actions (currently only Full Charge)
Action
行動
- This is the attack or move the part performs when selected in battle.
- There are many possible actions, see Actions in Medarot S for a list!
- Many actions have downsides, such as not letting you evade or defend against attacks until you return to the command line.
- In Medarot S, every action gets a stat bonus or a change in its effects depending on the part's rank.
- Certain attacks have special effects that change how they target parts, shown beneath the action name on the part stats screen. These are:
- Scatter (乱撃) - Hits 3 times, with the second and third hits hitting random parts. It uses 1/3 of the power for each individual hit. (Example: Gatling)
- Pierce (貫通) - Hits a single part, but any remaining damage after destroying a part is carried over onto the head part. (Example: Hyper Beam)
- Full (全体) - Hits all 4 parts (or all remaining parts) with the damage spread evenly between them. (Example: Hammer)
Heavy
Hv
- This blue icon marks the part as a "Heavy" part.
- Heavy parts are usually more powerful, but leg parts have varying limits on how many can be equipped at once.
- Equipping more Heavy parts than your legs can support gives your Medarot a major penalty to its stats (so try to avoid it).
- Medarots using heavy parts also take more damage from gravity-based attacks (Press, Break, and Break Hammer).
Leg parts
Armor
装甲
- This is the part's HP in battle.
- When the armor reaches 0 by taking damage, the part is destroyed. When leg parts are destroyed, they no longer provide stat bonuses to the Medarot.
- Armor and broken parts are automatically replenished at the end of every battle.

- Not currently implemented or confirmed. Like with leg abilities, there is some framework in the game's code for these to be added later, but no indication of when they might be.

Status effects
These are temporary states in battles that raise/lower a Medarot's stats or have other effects.
They can be negative (typically inflicted on the enemy team by using certain attacks) or positive (applied to the user's team with support actions).

Traps and plants
There are slots for one trap and one plant on both sides of the battlefield.
Traps cause damage when a Medarot uses a certain kind of part and are set on the enemy's side of the field, while plants typically have positive effects and are set on the user's side of the field.
