Ophinichus (オフィニクス) is an Ophiuchus-type Medarot that only appears in Medarot Navi. It is the signature Medarot of Don Kazanbai, leader of the Space Robos. Its name and appearance are based upon Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer or Holder, thirteenth sign of the Western Zodiac.

Description

Ophinichus is an intimidating Medarot indeed with the large containers attached to its arms. Its Right Arm holds a Thunder staff while its Left Arm is capable of modest Sword strikes. The Head part features Gravity Control.

In its Power Medachange form, the four containers combine into two large snake heads. Its legs transform into a second pair of hands; a serpent tail is extended to replace it. Thus transformed, Ophinichus can now manipulate enemy positions via its Shock and Vacuum Drives. It retains the Gravity Control of its original Medarot form.

In Medarot Navi

Ophinichus and her Medarotter, Don Kazanbai, are encountered halfway through the final act. Only after defeating all five Space Robo generals, gathered together in a single Robottle, are Kasumi's party allowed to face their leader. Ophinichus is accompied by two Libra and two Aquarius.

Kazanbai and Ophinicus can be chosen as allies in the final battle against Mistral.
