Bankaran (バンカラン), known in English as Banisher, is a banchou-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description
Bankaran is entirely based on a Japanese gang leader, called 番長 banchou. However in the anime dub it is said to be a Ban-type.
It is a Medarot which solely can do one thing, and that is Counterattacking. Bankaran's parts aren't able to damage unless they receive damage.

In Medarot 2
Bankaran appears under the command of a Medarotter, Baron. Aside that it doesn't play a big role in the game.

In Medarot 9
Bankaran returns in Medarot 9, where its model number has been updated to BAN00.
Like before, it is a bipedal Medarot that specializes in Counter actions, which reflect physical attacks back at the attacker. Its legs now have the "Fortress" ability, which reduces the damage it takes when defending by 10%. Its legs can support 3 heavy parts, and all 3 of its other parts are considered heavy.
Bankaran is the Medarot used by Hanzou of the Rescue Club, and its parts can be won by battling him or his clubmates repeatedly. (Press Y while standing next to the person to battle.)
In the anime
Bankaran appeared briefly in episode 2 of the original series when a guy who was scaring The Screws, Baron von Banish, wanted to challenge Ikki. Bankaran was Baron's Medarot. Metabee, though, headshot it, quickly winning the Robottle.
