A Tinpet is the skeleton and one of the core components needed to create a Medarot; without it a Medarot cannot be assembled. There are two types of Tinpet; Male and Female. Male tinpets are used to create male Medarots , whilst female Tinpets are used to create female Medarots.

Tinpets and Parts

Parts can be either male female. They relate to the Tinpet in two ways:

  • A Tinpet can be attached parts for it to work.
  • Male parts are for male Tinpets; female parts are for female Tinpets.

It is important to recognise this difference for the Medarotter, or the parts will just not assemble.

Lastly, not every female Medarot will neccesarely look female. One example of this is Blackbeetle, which is a female Medarot.

In the anime

Some few times female Medarots have worn male parts.
