Laurel (ローレル) is a character introduced in Medarot 8. A highly skilled detective, he has resolved numerous Medarot-related cases and has formed his self-titled detective agency. Unflappably polite, he dedicates himself to the formation of young detectives and as such. Salt looks up to him.
Outside of being a detective, Laurel is a supremely skilled Medarotter who has won tournaments and holds a battle record few can match. Despite his advanced deductive abilities however, he is completely oblivious to the feelings his former secretary Mary has for him.
