Rokusho, also known as Head Scissors is a well-known character in the Medarot series.

Description

Rokusho is the name given to it by four Medarotters: Hikaru Agata, Ikki Tenryou, Azuma Amakura, Kohaku Himuro and Soruto. It is a KWG-type Medarot and set in stone what weapons most KWG-types used with its usual Scan ability, and Sword and Hammer attacks. All versions of Rokusho have a white, almost silver body, has two blue antennae on the head, a retractable blade-like weapon on one arm, and a mace on the other arm, and in the case of Ikki's Rokusho, a ragged and old cloak.

Nearly all versions of Rokusho have a calm and pacifistic personality and are guided by a code of honor.

Ikki's Rokusho, however is cynical, standoffish and almost comes off as cruel.

In the games

Hikaru's Rokusho

This Rokusho's personality is different from the anime, as in the games he'd already found his purpose in life. He is a pacifist, usually trying to reason with enemies, and unlike Ikki's Rokusho and his anime counterpart, doesn't try to seek revenge out of anger. He is guided by a code of honor, and actively tries to help Hikaru, being worried when the boy is attacked by God Emperor. However, his actions and behaviour can go to extremes in some situations, and can be as hardheaded as Metabee in certain times.

In the manga

Medarot 1

Hikaru and Metabee first met Rokusho in Dr. Medarot's lab, being controlled by Taiyo and his men. Metabee inadvertently frees him,and the duo end up on friendly terms.

Rokusho acts somewhat like an older sibiling to Metabee, responding negatively when Hikaru's father complains about him. Rokusho is organized and more polite than Metabee(who comes off as childlike), he hates using parts other than his own, and becomes Hikaru's parter. Later on when Hikaru participated in the World Robattle Tournament, Rokusho participated in many battles, fighting alongside Metabee. When Taiyo destroyed Metabee and injured Hikaru, Rokusho got separated from his friends and returned to battle Beast Master.

Medarot 2

Ten years later, it's revealed later that Rokusho suffers from PTSD after encountering Beast Master and watching Metabee die. He meets Metabee playing with Ikki and co. and confuses the new Metabee with Hikaru's, but Metabee's fighting style convinces him otherwise. Later, He barges to the Karakuchi residence when he found out that Kouji reawakend Beast Master. Attempting to finish the job and kill Beast Master for good, he fights Ikki's Metabee in this state until he defeated Metabee in a brutal manner, causing Metabee to cry out. He finds Beast Master with Kouji, but Beast Master's kind actions make Rokusho find himself unable to kill him as Beast Master has no memory of the evil deeds that Taiyo had him do.

Medarot Perfect Edition and Medarot 2 Core

He has a compassionate personality, and behaves like a samurai, and is guided by a code of honor. He spakes in a similar manner as Ikki's Rokusho, but doesn't act in a standoffish way. After the events of the Ten Days Of Darkness, he survived, but has emotional scar and is more focused. He never talks to anyone else other than Ikki, Hikaru and Kirara.

Ikki's Rokusho

In the games

Medarot 2, 3 and 4

Rokusho appears in the same context as Metabee, given to Ikki by Hikaru. However Medarot 3 expands on his personality, portraying Rokusho as taciturn, but stand-offish and often cruel to Ikki, but not to the selfish extremes Metabee goes to, but the real reason for this is that he hates fighting and is pacifistic. The difference between him and Metabee us that Metabee tries to annoy Ikki, while Rokusho acts like he doesn't care, annoying and making it hard for Ikki to interact with him.
