Betty Bear (ベティベア) is a bear-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description

Betty Bear set the standard for Bear-type Medarots, who all share the traits of being floating Medarot and that they are specialized in gravity attacks. It is pretty common to see it as being used by girls, because of its resemblance to a Teddy Bear. It can be a fearsome Medarot, however its legs part make it somehow slow.

In the games

Betty Bear is a hover-type Medarot that specializes in Press attacks.

In Medarot 1

Betty Bear is Paddy's partner Medarot. It also served as the mascot and starting Medarot in Medarot 1 Parts Collection, where the player controls Paddy instead of Hikaru.

In the core game, it is encountered by robattling Paddy. It can also be encountered by robattling against the Boy.

Betty Bear's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2. It must be transferred from Medarot 1. It was replaced by a new BER-type, Charlie Bear.

In Medarot R

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting フサク (ranked opponent number 61) and ハスケ (ranked opponent number 10).

In Medarot 4

Betty Bear is owned by Bafusaku in Kameyama School.

In Medarot 8

Its model number is now BER00.

In the anime

It made a cameo only in Japan, where it was seen battling Space Medarotter X's Arcbeetle.
