The Lion Medal was first introduced as the Beast Medal in Medarot DS, but was re-named in all later installments.

In Medarot Dual you can acquire Lion Medal when you reach Rank 25 (you have a mission there) go to the Bridge and River area area (this area is under the MMF area) and robattle against 3 tags of medafighters. When you beat all of them you will receive Lion Medal.
