Island Croco (アイランドクロコ) is a shark-type Medarot that only appears in Medarot Navi. Its name is a reference to the Japanese word 鰐 (pronounced "wani"), which in modern times refers to a crocodile or alligator, but originally had the meaning of "shark".
Description
Perhaps inspired by feeding frenzies, Island Croco's arms are capable of drawing all of their allies into the squares near them, allowing them to summon melee Medarots into range or pull endangered allies out of harm's way. Its head houses anti-sea missiles that are devastating against other Aquatic bots.
In the games
In her first confrontation with Kasumi in Medarot Navi, Sekiran and her Scorpio are assisted by four Island Crocos, though their tendency to pull Scorpio out of melee range may make them more beneficial to the player than to the enemy.
