Octoclam (カネハチまーく２ kanehachimaaku2, Kanehachi MK2) is a CLA-type Medabot first introduced in Medarot 2.
Description
Octoclam's main attack consist on holding opponents, dealing them damage while catching them. Its holding also makes it more difficult for its opponent to move. It often appears in rough terrain, where it moves really fast. It might look like a sea Medabot, but its tentacles act rather like many legs.
In the anime
Octoclam made an appearance in an episode, where Metabee, not used to the beach environment for robattling, fights against Sharkkan and loses. An old fisherman lends his Octoclam's leg medapart, Swick, to Metabee so he can walk and swim in the beach. The rematch proved the training and the new legs useful, as Metabee successfully defeated Sharkkan.
In the games
In Medarot 2 and 2 CORE
It does not play a major role. Some medafighters in rough terrains like Oboro Mountain use Octoclam as their Medabot, though.
