Medarotch sprites
Wow, thanks for uploading these! I take it they're ripped straight from the app? Any clue how many Medarots are in it total? (I don't have a smartphone so I haven't been able to check it out myself.)
I haven't messed with a real Medarotch toy either (and we're probably not likely to find many people who have), but I wonder if it's really safe to assume that the sprites are identical... It might be better just to say that they're from the Medarotch mobile app until we can confirm. ._.;
Either way, it's good to have you! :D ~ Kimbles 16:13, 29 May 2015 (MDT)
- I got a total of 74 Medarotch rips so far, I am not entirely sure what current max is, as the game data store each individual part as its own .png file (meaning its hell to go through.), so i ripped them directly from my phone using screen capture. (Quickmemo+ on my rooted LG G3 Phone.)
- And I'm pretty sure they are identical from the photos i found online of them in action, but i believe the devices themselves came with smaller amount of bot sprite sets included, as it seem like some are advertised to be in "32 Bot Series". But it might be because they cheaped out on the microcontroller's in early production runs to save manufacturing cost, but that is just speculation on my end. (microcontroller's are more all inclusive than a microprocessor, with all the elements it needs to operate included in one piece of silicon, typically making them a little (but not much) more specialized. The microprocessor by contrast needs external memory and interface devices to operate, thus costs more component vise usually.)
- I'd love to have a Medaroach to play with, as old consumer electronic amuses me, but they are pretty hard to come by from what i can tell (or at least in good condition). They seem to be very well made (if they are much like the app), and seem like great novelty items.
- Hopefully someone who got one (or a few) can make a wiki article about it, as it would be pretty cool, especially when there are some programmable sub lines like the MedaNetBoard ones, where you can program in your Medarot's sprites into medals by yourself..
- Anyhow, are you sure you want me to refer to them only being in the app? Considering you should try image search "Medanetboard"/"Medarotch" and "メダロッチ" and you an see they seem pretty 1 v 1 accurate to me.

- Anyhow uploaded all 74 now and did the last batch only mentioning them being from app like you told me to. Hopefully someone can correct the older ones descriptions as they do their changes. (。・ω・。)

- Thanks. :D (I hope you don't mind me indenting your replies.)
