Libra (ライブラ) is a Libra-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot Navi. Its name and appearance are based upon Libra the Scale, seventh sign of the Western zodiac.
Description
Libra's role in Robottles is as a deterrent against enemies in both the air and water. Its Right Arm can fire Anti-Air attacks at extreme range; its Left Arm can send Anti-Sea attacks just as far. The Head features a passive Negate Gravity ability, protecting it from Press and Break weapons. Finally, its Float base gives it all-around good mobility without leaving itself vulnerable to Anti-Air weapons.
In the games
Libra is first seen at the start of the third act as Kasumi's party infiltrates the Space Robo asteroid base. With the player facing two Libras alongside three Aquarii commanded by generic Space Robo goons, this sudden increase in difficulty sets the tempo for the remainder of the chapter (in which the remaining Zodiac-themed Medarots are met during the final Robottles with the five Space Robo Generals).

Trivia
- Libra and Aquarius's Right and Left Arm attacks are identical to Sonic Stag and Granbeetle's Drive B and C attacks, respectively. The player starters' Drives are often used as "crutch" abilities to power through enemy resistance; being on the receiving end of such abilities clues the player that major shifts in strategy will be required (an especially rude awakening for those who just completed research on Blazer-Multi).
