Nin-Ninja (ニンニンジャ) is a ninja-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.
Description
Nin-Ninja's design is based on a ninja wearing a dark blue hood. Along with Get Ready, it serves as one of the mascots of Shinobic Park, a ninja-themed amusement park. It mainly fights with its wrist-mounted swords, but can also set traps or create gusts of wind to catch its opponents off guard.
Nin-Ninja's arm parts are named after bladed weapons used by ninjas: a Kunai and a Ninjato (ninja sword).
In the games
Nin-Ninja is a bipedal Medarot with Sword attacks on both arms. In Medarot 1, its head action is a Shooting Trap, but this was changed to a Fighting Trap in Medarot 2 and later games. From Medarot DS onwards, its head action was changed again to Tornado.
Nin-Ninja's part names have also changed over time. In Medarot 1, its head part is called "Mist Net" (かすみあみ), while in Medarot 2, R, 4, and 2 Core, it has the name "Stealth Cloak" (かくれみの). In Medarot DS, Its head part was renamed "Kamikaze (カミカゼ , or divine wind) to reflect its new Tornado attack, and the rest of its part names are written in katakana script instead of hiragana.
Nin-Ninja's parts are compatible with different Medals depending on the game, but its arm and leg parts are frequently compatible with the Kuwagata Medal.
In Medarot 1
In Medarot 1, Nin-Ninja is the only male Medarot capable of using Shooting Traps. Its parts can be obtained from random battles with ninja Medarotters, or purchased from the souvenir shop at Shinobic Park (head and legs only).
Here, its head and leg parts have the Sneak attribute, making it one of the few Medarots compatible with the Ninja Medal. Its arm swords have the Fighting attribute and are compatible with the Kuwagata Medal instead.
In Medarot 2
Nin-Ninja's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred in from Medarot 1. It was replaced by the new NIN-type, Wire-Ninja.
Here, its head part was changed to a Fighting Trap with the Set-up attribute, and the attribute on its legs was changed to Fighting to match its arms.
In Medarot Brave
Quote: Hello, boys and girls! Did you learn how to use traps yet? Come and see me at the Ninja Park!
In Medarot DS
Its head part was renamed Kamikaze (カミカゼ), and the rest of its parts are now written in katakana instead of hiragana. Its model number in the new format is NIN00-M. Kamikaze uses the Tornado technique, which deals double damage if the battlefield is desert.
