Shiden Murasame (ムラサメ シデン Murasame Shiden) is a character from Medarot Navi and Kasumi Asano's rival.

A boy who invited Kasumi and his friends to Cluster. He is a top-tier Medarotter, consistently holding the number one spot in the Robattle rankings, and enjoys immense popularity. However, in reality, he holds a position of power at RR Corporation, the company that runs the rankings, and has been manipulating the rankings to suit his own interests. Carrying the weight of RR Corporation’s future on his shoulders, he has a cool, mature demeanor and a strong sense of pride. However, this twisted pride led him to feel jealous of Kasumi, resulting in him locking him up under the guise of a monitor test and challenging him multiple times.

His primary Medarot, Ashton, is a unique Medarot developed by RR Corporation as part of their goal to gain independence from the Medarot Company, symbolizing their dreams and pride. Though he was defeated by Kasumi, he returned each time with improved models, Silverion and Goldran, to face him again.

Shiden first appears looking for Mistral at Blue Sky academy. He the gains the awe of all the girls there with his charms, only stroking his ego. He is later seen tailing Kasumi and finding Mistral.

Later he pretends to be Kasumi's friend and unveils Cluster a theme park in Space dedicated to Medarot.

When Kasumi goes to a test area for Granbeetle/Sonic Stag, Shiden tries to manipulate the boy into telling him what he knows about Mistral. This proves fruitless, so Shiden locked Kasumi in the test area and behaves in a cruel manner by having security Medarot bear down on him, and leaves.

What he didn't count was that Kasumi had a Kabuto / Kuwagata Medal on his person, and with his new partner, he broke out of vault. At some point Shiden had also hired Fubuki to pose as a student and spy on Kasumi for information.

This again never works as he ends up fighting Kasumi multiple times and loses. In the fight at the Pyramid Block, Shiden reveals that Fubuki is his spy, but Fubuki ultimately sides with Kasumi, who was more of a friend to her than Shiden ever was. After his defeat, Shiden surrenders the key medal and when the group heads to the Star Module, Niwaka the traitor, kidnaps him.

During his first Robattle with Kasumi, he also attached his own medal to the Metal Beetle in order to compete with Kasumi's Metabee and win by fighting with the same machine .

Years after that, him and his men were trying to capture Baizan the "isoca" who'd escaped from RR company. The Medarot he had at this time was Silvarion.

In his past flashbacks, Shiden loses in a rematch with Kasumi and wonders why he can't win, and Kasumi lectures him about the nature of his relationship with Medarot. It ends up that the reason why he can't win is because of his strategy.
