Anise (アニス) is a main character in Medarot 8. A member of the Laurel Detective Agency and its only female detective, she is known for her analytical mind and despite her composed disposition, cares deeply for her friends. She is technically Salt's senior in the organisation, though she is of the same age as hims and asks him to be called by her first name as she is not good with formalities.

She is one of the possible romance option for Salt at the end of the game depending on choices made throughout the story.

Sidequest

To achieve Anise's ending, players must take the following steps:

• Whenever selecting a partner for team Robattles, select Anise as much as possible.
• In Chapter 1, when quizzed on Anise's favorite food, select the answer "Tonkotsu Ramen".
• In Chapter 4, select the Antlion path rather than following Phantom Thief Jill.
• In Chapter 8, talk to Anise while at the Laurel Detective Agency to initiate a Robattle before going outside.

Medarot S

During Chapter 6, Anise rebuilds her Noel into Alba Noel, which she is quick to boast about.
