Hello, I'm a Brazilian fan of animations and games. And a super fan of the vast majority of things that were part of my youth, this includes, of course, Medabots.
Although I was already a fan of the anime, I always loved the Game Boy Advance RPG and I was surprised and happy to discover that the franchise was actually a game franchise that only had an anime adaptation, something very similar to Pokémon (A franchise that I, personally, have a lot of experience).
I believe that Medabots/Medarot always had potential in the West, it doesn't need to be a billion-dollar franchise like Pokémon, but it could have its own space similar to Yo-Kai Watch, and it just didn't happen due to poor management by Imagineer who focused marketing on West too much in the anime instead of bringing the games immediately after similar to Pokémon. This poor management is reflected in them losing the rights to the "Medabots" brand to a certain guy in Europe.
I've always been curious to know more and more about the franchise, unfortunately, I don't understand Japanese and all I can do is hope for the success of the warrior fans willing to translate all the games into English. Because of this, my contribution to Medapedia depends heavily on research as I haven't played the games other than [[Medarot 1]], [[Medabots AX]] and [[Medarot 2 Core]].
As English is not my first language, I ask that you have the patience to correct any grammatical errors if necessary. I'm not here to vandalize and I just want to contribute at least a little so that Medarot fans out there have more information about this franchise that, unfortunately, abandoned the West too soon.
