Taurus (タウルス) is a Taurus-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot Navi. It is the signature Medarot of Rayun, one of the Space Robo generals. Its name and appearance are based upon Taurus the Bull, second sign of the Western Zodiac.
Description
Fitting of its charging bull motif, Taurus is focused on getting entering close combat as soon as possible. Its Head part features a Booster, increasing the damage it can do after moving. Both of its Arms feature Virus attacks to reduce the enemy's accuracy.
Once in range of its opponents, Taurus can Medachange into a flying bull - its shoulder blades form the horns while the remainder of the head deploys two jet engines. It retains a Booster drive but exchanges its Viruses for Bug drives to gore the enemy.
In the games
Taurus and his Medarotter, the Space Robo general Rayun, are first met inside a Research Lab at the center of a Medarot-sized antlion trap. Thanks to Navi's module Security mechanic, Rayun and Taurus will likely be met in Robottle many times outside of their scripted appearances (of which there are three before the final act begins).
