Ambiguous (アンビギュアス) is a jewel beetle-type Medarot that first appears in Medarot 2. Intended as a counterpart to Metabee.
Description
Ambiguous has much in common with Metabee in terms of abilities and design. It has a classic Rifle attack on its Right Arm, Gatling on its Left and Missiles in its Head. It differs from the KBT-model in that it has extremely high Strength and ROS countered with dangerously low Armor. It thus maintains a "glass cannon" role, doing heavy damage early in the battle because it likely won't be around to see the end. It is suggested not to use one as a Leader.
Its coloring is mainly green, red, and yellow, closely matching the colors of a japanese jewel beetle. Its head is dome-shaped with round red eyes and yellow stripes extending diagonally from its eyes to the back of its head.
The name "Ambiguous" name comes from the term "tamamushi-iro" (玉虫色, jewel bug color), which is japanese for iridescence or vagueness. Jewel beetles are also known as metallic wood-boring beetles, leading to its model number of MWB.
