Medalias in Medarot 8

This page is a list of Medalias found in Medarot 8 and the materials used to craft them.

Basic info

In Medarot 8, Medalias (メダリア) are small colored jewels that can be inserted into Medals to alter their stats or give them a variety of special effects. A Medal can only have one Medalia equipped at a time. The ability to use them is unlocked in chapter 3 of the game after Parsley explains them to the player.

The option to change which Medalia a Medal has equipped is found on the "Medal settings" page, which is accessed through these steps:

• Enter the Settings menu -> select a Medarot -> select its Medal -> on the Medal select screen, press X.

The equipped Medalia is the third option on the page.

Some Medalias can be purchased in shops, while others can only be found in dungeons or received at certain points in the story. In the post-game, the player gains the option to craft Medalias out of materials found in random battles by speaking to Saffron in the Medal Research Lab and using the machine next to her.

Types of Medalias

As in Medarot 7, Medalias belong to different categories depending on what they do and how their effects are activated:

• Protection (プロテクション) - Gives resistances to certain types of attacks.

• Style Change (スタイル変更) - Changes the Medal's Robottle style.

• Skill Plus (スキルプラス) - Increases the Medal's skill levels.

• Leader Effect (リーダー効果) - Gives a passive effect to all Medarots on the team, but only activates if the Medarot using it is the leader.

• Partner Effect (パートナー効果) - Gives a passive effect to all Medarots on the team, but only activates when the Medarot using it is destroyed.

• Other (その他) - All other effects.
