HellPhoenix (ヘルフェニックス), known in English as Phoenix, is a phoenix-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.
Description
Based on a mythological phoenix, HellPhoenix is a bird-like Medarot equipped with powerful flamethrowers on its arms and beak. Its leg parts are designed for flight, and its design features a distinctive red rope "tail" that trails behind it through the air.
It was renamed Phoenix in the English releases.
In the games
HellPhoenix is a flying Medarot that specializes in Fire attacks, capable of inflicting the Burn status effect to cause lingering damage to its opponents. In Medarot 1, 2, R, and 2 Core, its parts have the Burn attribute, making it an obvious choice for use with the Phoenix Medal.
In Medarot 1
HellPhoenix is the sole user of Fire attacks in Medarot 1, and one of the two Medarots in the game capable of causing the Burn status effect (the other being Teepee). It is also the main Medarot used by the leader of the RoboRobo Gang, Typhoon.
Its parts can be obtained from random battles, or bought from the convenience store outside of the Medarot Company building.
In Medarot 2
HellPhoenix's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred over from Medarot 1. It was replaced by the new PHX-type, DeathPhoenix.
In Medabots AX
HellPhoenix appears as Hiro's leader Medarot, while his partner is either Kanehachi Mk2 or Marine Killer with Belzelga's legs equipped.
In Medarot 2 Core
HellPhoenix is a common find (used by Lady), but mostly in Fiyun Fortress (used by Air-Type Medarot).
In Medarot Brave
Quote: Take my red-hot fire attack! If you can feel my beat, your heart will be on fire!
In the anime
HellPhoenix appears in the first episode of the original anime series alongside Blackmail as one of the Medarots used by the Rockers.
