Marukata (まるかた) is a Japanese artist. He was one of three Medarot designer hired to design new Medarots for Medarot R, including Fancyroll, Gokudo, Shinsaber and the Zodiac series. He later contributed "around 10" designs to Medarot Navi. Additionally, he is credited on Medarot G as the designer of the title logo.
Outside of Medarot, Marukata has been an illustrator for Zoids. He later returned to Medarot with Medarot S, doing the design for White Glen and the Zoids collaboration models.
