In the Games[edit]

Personality[edit]

Personality wise, Chrotojil is very unlike Ikki's Metabee, as he is more honest with his feelings, and is good natured if not a bit stubborn.

Chrotojil has an child-like, obedient and honest personality, going as far as to call Koishimaru "Master". He can be seen as a little bit stubborn as he repeatedly asks this question to Koishimaru. At that point, Koishimaru tries to tell Chrotojil that he isn't his master, prompting Chrotojil to call Koishimaru an idiot, thinking the boy needs convincing. Later at Koishimaru's home, Koishimaru admits that he wanted to be with him.

In the Kuwagata version, the roles of Chrotojil and Shinzan are reversed, and Chrotojil serves as Hiko's Medarot. The two have distinct personalities when they speak in the story, which they keep regardless of which side they are on.

In the Manga[edit]

Medarot 5[edit]

In this manga series, Koishimaru finds Chrotojil inside the tree at the Shijimi shrine, but without a Medal. Instead he uses his own Kabuto Medal named Omeda (オメダ), which was given to him by his father along with a Medarotch so that he would have a friend to talk to. Having only been used in a Medarotch, Omeda has no battle experience and has to fight for the first time against Hiko's Shinzan. His model in the manga is KBT-0, much like Hikaru's Metabee in Medarot 1.

The name "Omeda" may come from an anagram of the Japanese word "dameo", meaning "a useless guy".

Medarot G[edit]

In this manga, Koishimaru receives Dechotom's parts from Shigeyuki to use as a replacement body for Omeda after his parts were destroyed in a battle at the end of the Medarot 5 series. After competing in the Densuke Land tournament, he returns to using Chrotojil's parts once the repairs are completed. In the manga, his model number is KBT-1, much like Bayonet in its first appearance in Medarot 2.
