Takong (タコング, a portmanteau between "Tako" and "Kong") is a character in Medarot 1. He is a Kanehachi found in the Harbor Town's cave after the main storyline is completed.
Takong is located in a out-of-the-way corner of the cave, by using the Periscope near the left bridge. He harasses a Pure Mermaid who refuses his advance. Approaching him starts a Robattle with three Kanekachis. After being defeated, Takong runs away and the Pure Mermaid rewards Hikaru with the full set of parts for Shell Cushion. By interacting with a box in the cave, it is possible to repeat the encounter.
His role is identical in Medarot Perfect Edition.
