Sekizou (セキゾー), known in English as Gloomeg, is a golem-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[edit]

Sekizou is an austere-looking Medarot based on a stone statue, and specifically bears a resemblance to the statues of Ninomiya Sontoku often placed outside of Japanese schools.

The word sekizou (石像) literally translates to "stone statue". Its GLM model number most likely comes from "golem", and its English name, Gloomeg, most likely comes from golem and gloom in reference to its appearance.

In the games[edit]

Sekizou is a tank-type Medarot that specializes in Missile attacks.

In Medarot 1[edit]

Sekizou can only be encountered twice on the top of the school's roof at different points of the game. After winning the first time you'll get "Homing", while the second time you'll get "Grenade".

In Medarot R[edit]

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting カミナリおやじ that is ranked opponent number 37.

In Medarot 9[edit]

It's model number is now GLM00.

In the anime[edit]

Sekizou appears in episode 4.
