Kin-Tarou (キン・タロー), known in English as Kintaro, is a Kintarou-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game. Based on the Japanese folk hero of the same name.

Kin-Tarou is a bipedal combat focused Medarot with the motif of the Japanese folk hero Kintarō. It's arms are hammer based attacks while it's head fires a press attack. It's arms and legs are most compatible with the Kuwagata Medal, while it's head piece is compatible with the Bear Medal.

In Medarot 1[edit]

Kin-Tarou can be encountered rarely in the Mountain Village area, but it is easily purchasable at the convenience store in the Shopping Area.

In Medarot 2[edit]

Kin-Tarou is not normally obtained in Medarot 2 and must be transferred from Medarot 1.

In Medarot R[edit]

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting タマオせんせい that is ranked opponent number 94.

In Medarot 2 Core[edit]

The school boys in Riverview School, Rosewood Private School and Mt. Odoro has this Medarot and will use it to Robottle the player. It's also obtainable by fighting roaming bipedal Medarot's in the Castle and RoboRobo gang HQ at the Medarot Island.

In the anime[edit]
