Haniwa Golem, whose name comes from ''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haniwa haniwa]'', terra cotta clay figures, and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem golem], clay figures that would eventually take life after a ritual, reflects its entire design: a living haniwa. Haniwa Golem is mostly based on the popular design haniwas have nowadays, and not the older one. This is seen on its head part, where Haniwa Golem has two deep eyes and a big mouth. Despite that, its arm parts are like mirrors, and its legs part seems to be empty.

Haniwa Golem (ハニワゴーレム) is a haniwa-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[edit]

Haniwa Golem, whose name comes from haniwa, terra cotta clay figures, and golem, clay figures that would eventually take life after a ritual, reflects its entire design: a living haniwa. Haniwa Golem is mostly based on the popular design haniwas have nowadays, and not the older one. This is seen on its head part, where Haniwa Golem has two deep eyes and a big mouth. Despite that, its arm parts are like mirrors, and its legs part seems to be empty.

Battle wise, it does not fight but instead it is a defensive Medarot that will allow the holder of any of its parts, excluding its legs, to defend itself against grappling attacks, rendering them useless.

In the games[edit]

Haniwa Golem is a hover-type Medarot that specializes in Negate Optical.

In Medarot 1[edit]

In the Kuwagata version, it is obtained by giving away items gained at the Synobic Park to the Village Chief in the Mountain Village. In the Kabuto version, it is obtained after the post-game Grandfather and Robattle event.

In Medarot 2[edit]

Haniwa Golem is not normally obtainable in Medarot 2 and must be transferred from Medarot 1. It was replaced by a new HNI-type, Haniwa Mirror.

In Medarot R[edit]

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting カミナリおやじ that is ranked opponent number 37.
